A mom and pop hole in the wall. They have a bomb pastrami that’s worth giving a shot. Just wish they had milkshakes…

I wanted to like this place. I really had a craving for onion rings… I should’ve gone someplace else. I ordered two bacon cheeseburgers with grilled onions, fries, onion rings and ranch dressing for dipping. For some reason the food was very salty and the onion rings were not crispy. They were actually very chewy, hard to bite through. I didn’t really get to enjoy the meal, but I was in a different area and thought I’d try a new place. Now I know better.

When I am of to work my husband and daughter love going here. My husband loves the double cheese burger and my daughter will help with his fries. They give you more than you can eat. All for less than 10.00

Chris’ is a mom and pop shop for great burgers. Their Frisco burger is the best in town, and their fried zucchini is always tasty. The drive thru doesn’t look like it’s operational, and you can barely tell it’s there… but it works and it’s convenient. The food is always fresh, and these guys have great prices.

Worst food i have ever paid money for. I will never eat here again. After eating very few bites of the the burger, and chili cheese fries it all went in the garbage. It was discusting.

I love the burgers here, they are better than Zorba’s and I agree with the other girl that said that they have a good attitude compared to Zorba’s. I also tried the teriyaki beef, that plate was overloaded with food and it was worth its price. I’d definitely will go back.

Had the hot dog n it was delicious! Great char-broiled taste. I only write reviews if the food is good. I recommend this place if you like old skool diners and anybody who likes BBQ/grilled meat!

5 — service 5 — not the best food, certainly tasty and satisfying. 4 — location is not the best, must give the owners credit for great food and service. 5 — price is fair for fast food of it’s type. Cheeseburgers, chicken sandwich, onion rings, zucchini, and fries are great tasting. I will update as I try the different A must try if you like traditional Greek Style eateries.

Yummiest hole in the wall ever! Yes it has a tough competition with zorbas but honestly I’d rather come here then to wait 30 minutes to an hour at zorbas and put up with they’re bad attitude! Everything was freshly made and came out relatively fast. I had the California burger special and it was delicious! The woman who took my order was friendly and looked happy to see another customer when they were clearly swamped with orders. All in all I would definitely come back for lunch to try out the rest of they’re menu!

This is the worst burger joint I have been to in a long time. The onion rings were horrible. Dry onions, and they were to hard to even might through. The fries were all soggy. And they tasted like the oil was old. The chilie for the chilicheese fries was disgusting. I have been to many places to eat burgers and this one was the worst by far. Avoid, is my advice!

Sometimes this place is even better than zorbas. Zorbas gets all this praise and is always packed, yet chris’ burgers is just as good if not better and has a similar menu, plus, they are never crowded and busy like Zorbas. They’re char broiled just like Zorbas and tasty. Don’t get me wrong, I like Zorbas but if you don’t wanna deal with the crowds or the long lines go to Chris’ and you won’t be disappointed.

I had their a Frisco Burger but with a chicken breast instead if the beef patty. It was really good. Fries were also good. Around $ 7 for the combo. It does appear to look like a whole in wall but was satisfied. They serve American, Mexican, and Greek food.

Seems like they are making an effort here, but the food quality is just not as good as it should be. My Girlfriend and I dined here recently and OK, was the best we could give their food. I’m sure their business is not that good as during the time we were there, only four or so people came in during lunch hour. I doubt if we would come back to this place after the last time dining here. They need someone who is a pro in the industry to help them as they do not seem to really understand the restaurant business.

I have enjoyed the frisco burger from this place for the last few years and the fries are always fried and seasoned to perfection. The husband and wife are Asian and always take a personal interest when I am there. The menu is typical of similar businesses such as Mission Burgers, Gus Jr, etc which includes breakfast, mexican, burgers, etc. Recently they added items such as beef and chicken teriyaki bowls and fried rice. I have had the fish burger, frisco burger, beef teriyaki, and philly cheese steak. All were ok, but I enjoy the frisco burger the most since it comes on sourdough. The philly cheese was not what I am used to. I also believe the same meat is used in the asada burritos from what I have seen. The prices are around $ 7 and up unless you get the family pack hamburger deal, which includes 4 burgers, 4 fries, 4 drinks for $ 19.99. The reason for additional stars taken away is because the last time I went, the patties were sliced relatively thin, almost to deli meat consistency. They do not have much competition aside from Zorba burgers across the street, which I have never been to, but I can see this hurting their business. I was embarrassed because I recommended this place to my coworkers and they were all disappointed. They are carnivores and felt that the patties should have been doubled, but we all later realized these were just the average frozen patties sliced in half. They also do not like how the trays are pre-arranged with the fries sitting on them while the food is being cooked and other customers are walking past and grabbing condiments over our trays of fries.

i asked for no pickles on my burger, and when i received my burger they put pickles in it. when i returned it, they just picked the pickles out and handed it back to me. Like i don’t have fingers to do that myself? wtf.

Thought I’d give this place a try. When I stepped in, it reminded me of Troy’s Burgers on Valley Blvd. in Los Angeles. So my boyfriend and I ordered food to go. My food ended up being okay but my complaint lies in the service and sanitation of this place. First of all, the cashier lady was evidently miserable. We tried to talk to her and be friendly but it was obvious that she wanted to be left alone. She was sweating bullets despite the fact that it was nighttime! Then again, they can just be working her like crazy, leading her to dislike this job. Sanitation problem: she was being really dirty wiping her sweat and was not wearing a hairnet or any gloves. So when the korean man went to make our food, we were standing right there when he spilled our fries all over the counter. He quickly scooped them all up and put it in our bag like it never happened! I was kind of appalled. When we got out food and was about to walk out the door, he called us back in. He left the bacon on the grill. So he opened my boyfriend’s burger and put it back in. The bacon was kinda old too, let me warn you. We wanted some extra thousand island and he wanted to charge us. So we decided — never mind. As I was eating the french fries later on, I felt something kind of hard. I pulled it out of the french fries and ITWAS… ______A DIRTY, THIN, METALWIRE!!!_______ Can I say: totally unsanitary and disgusting? It probably fell in there when he dropped the fries and still scooped it into our bag!!! So, the service sucks and this place should be closed down because it is evidently violating rules of sanitation! So my recommendation: save yourselves and go elsewhere! In fact, go walk across the street to Zorbas’!! There are more people over there for a reason!

This restaurant isn’t new. It’s been here for some time and I know because my friend’s parents owned it at one point. Anyways, under my friend’s parents’ tenure, they served up some heaven sent burgers and pastrami sandwiches. So so good. Mom and pop — or at least it was, I’m not sure now. But definitely worth a try if you’re into mom and pop burgers.

This relatively new hole-in-the-wall is located in a dicey part of town(but then again, what part of Riverside isn’t dicey, yanno? ;)) and owned by a gracious Korean family. Had it not been for a friend who suggested having lunch at this place during college, this place would have gone unnoticed by me driving down Iowa. It’s quaint on the outside but clean inside, at least the last few times I was there when they’d just opened. Their menu includes an offering of your traditional American fast food and diner fare, including some awesome breakfast deals I’ve been meaning to try but just never got around to. Did I mention they have a convenient drive-thru? =) The food is fresh and much better quality than any fast food joint around. Portions are great and the prices even better. If you’re into grilled sourdough burgers like I am, try their San Franciscan burger. You’ll never go back to that Sourdough Jack again.
