Dollar Tree

I only go here when I have to. Homeless and drug addicted people with dogs sit out front begging for change. It’s dirty inside, messy and always has huge lines, but what do you expect when there are only 1 or 2 cashiers. IF they open a new line, they take people from the end of the line– not fair yo those who have been waiting. Lots of broken and old crap and garbage on the floor. Go early if you need to come here. Riverside needs a makeover. Cashiers look beat down and rarely look you in the eye. Good luck!

I love how close to home this store is! The items are plentiful, staff is helpful and friendly, store is kept clean seeing as it could be a mess, parking is never a problem, and the products sold here are good quality for little cost.

I’m not a huge fan. The selection is lacking and the lines are long. Service could be better though.
If the three were improved I might consider returing more often.

This is my slum «go-​to» store… the neighborhood is fine – go during the day — the pet store next door should be closed down-​it reeks!

I buy ALL my candles (tapers) here. 2 for a dollar and they are odorless and dripless. I love to have candles on the table during dinner, but I don’t want scented, smoking, dripping candles and these are a true FIND! I stock up on them when they have colors I like — DO NOT GET any fancy «gold» crusted, etc. candles… just the plain wax tapers…
I also wander around during the various holidays and purchase little «chachkees» to decorate with… after the holiday I throw them all out – no need to try and pack and save at these prices.
I have also found with diligent shopping… in the «cosmetic» department the L’Oreal lipstick I ALWAYS buy, in the color I buy — for a BUCK — took them all and stuck them in the cabinet at home. They are quite cozy and comfy in there just waiting their turn to join the group of «being currently used» in my cosmetic drawer!
Yes – if you are a candy fanatic — there are shelves and shelves of stuff… food no way – every piece of canned goods says Made in China… if I won’t purchase stuff made in China for my dogs, I doubt I’ll eat anything from there.
Once in a while there is a jam or 2 from Canada… that’s a «GO»
If you cruise around and SHOP — you’ll find deals – OH — gift bags— ALL SIZES… why pay more??? most folks throw them out!

This one is next to a pet store in the Stater Bros parking lot.
I dont like this one, not only because of the sketchy neighborhood, especially at night lol, but also its just not very good. It is by far the dirtiest of the 3 I go to in Riverside, and has, what I think, is the worst food selection. It has a rather big candy selection, however, and its hardly ever busy, so…
