What more can I say but how thankful the community must be to have a great non-profit like GRID Alternatives. This company prides themselves in providing solar power to in-need families for no cost at all with the use of volunteer helpers and donated resources. The company is also a member of the Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce which has been able to expand the area of effect this generous company already had. As a local attorney and director of the Chamber, I know that the company is doing there best to help provide to low-income families. Joshua D. Naggar, Esq.

Had the opportunity to volunteer at a two day installation in Jurupa Valley and was amazed by all I was able to take away! I had never really used power tools, but with the help and assistance of the construction crew I was able to learn how to splice rails and even find the rafters on the roof in order to drill in the bases for the railings. They take safety very seriously and have all the right tools to make you feel safe with what you are doing. Gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, and even sun screen are all provided for you. It feels great to know that you are giving back to your community by helping out this amazing non-profit, as well as the homeowner that you are serving. The homeowner was very kind and provided a wonderful and tasty lunch(I’m a foodie). GRID is even having a volunteer appreciate banquet this month to thank all of their volunteers for the service they provide for families here across the IE. I felt important and appreciated while volunteering, seeing the happy homeowner and team at GRID was very motivating. I hope to see more people becoming a part of GRID’s mission in the future!
