I think it’s closed. Years ago I went here for Paintball stuff and they had a good supply and they were helpful. It started to get more run down over the years. I stopped going here, but I have driven by several times and it looks abandoned. I haven’t seen the doors open, there appears to be no electricity, no outside lights at night. Pretty creep looking these days… well it was always kind of creepy but now…

This place is a run down smelly dump. They are so cheap they don’t have electricity & they live inside! They don’t even bother to put price tags on anything. The dog takes a piss & crap inside also. Goodwill is a 5 star store compared 2 this place. Pls stay away from this nightmare. The people are sitting there smoking & swearing & in pajamas ! No class at all! No inventory also. Im going to big johns down the road, at least they have electricity so u can see!

I bought my favorite T-Shirt here awhile back. Suicide Homicide Genocide RIVERSIDE! Best shirt ever. This place has been here since I was in school, and I’m old now! If ya think the worlds gonna end this December, this is the place to get ya some excellent survival stuff.

I love stores where I feel like I’ll be killed upon entering. Don’t you? But seriously, when we went, the place had no electricity, stuff everywhere, and creepy folks lurking. I would never go back.

What a dive this place was. I was a bit shocked to learn that this is a goodwill /military surplus store rolled into one. I think Chong from«Cheech and Chong» was working there. I thought it had a pretty decent selection of used military fatigues. The prices were awesome. I paid $ 4.50 for each military long sleeve jacket. I was going to buy one but ended up getting like four of them. Hell, why not, it was less than five bucks each. If you’re looking for brand new fatigues and get ripped off like at the other surplus store in town, this is not the place to buy. However, if you’re looking for cool, worn-out looking military fatigues for close to nothing, this is the jackpot! Granted, things were not the most labeled and organized but who cares when you’re getting the deal of the century. When I price-shopped for same items at other, more organized military stores, prices were three to four times higher at other stores. What I’m saying is, don’t expect Nordstrom quality, service and organization. Oh, and there is a loose dog or wolf roaming around in the store. Not sure if it belongs to the owner/employee or just some random junk yard dog that dropped in for a peep from the surrounding ghetto neighborhood. Employee was very nice and laid back. Thanks Cheech!

What a horrendous disappointment J&T Military Surplus ended up. I raced there after work one day to check out there fatigues selection + supplies for a costume. Upon driving up I thought that perhaps they had gone out of business just due to the dilapidated state of their building and all the crap piling up in the fenced in area around the business. I went to go peek in the window just to make sure and was scared to death by an employee that came rushing out of the front door to lock up for the night. Although she was willing to help me as long as I was quick, I figured it was best to come back when I would have ample time to rummage around. That Sunday I returned with a friend and what we found made me wonder just how in the hell does this place pay its rent? Although J&T has a ton of stuff, most of it was not labeled(military noob here) and had a very limited quantity in stock. All their clothing sizes were 28 – 32(impossible for a woman to find anything there-damn you hips!) and just shoved into their corresponding cubbie After that waste of time we ventured up to the cracked and busted display counter to find various items which had no label or price tag and a large variety of right leaning stickers. By this point I was ready to go especially since there were a handful of sketchy looking characters sitting on the other half of the store, which was completely empty except for the large, black tables set up every few feet. They probably used them to practice reassembling their gun collection in fastest time possible; gotta get ready for the upcoming apocalypse after Obama turns the US into a socialist state! ;)
