This isn’t a gun store, it’s a gun club house — really friendly — I think if you come in thinking you are going to WalMart you will have a bad experience due to a mismatch in expectations and services… if you come in and have a little time — talk to the people, etc you will do fine. Previous post really diss’d Rose Mary — well, she was super nice too!

I have been doing business with Jerry for several years, he is the old school gun shop from when I was a kid, great service while being truthful to a fault, all while having great prices. I recently struggled having another local shop ship a pistol for me, but not at JW, everything was taken care of immediately and with the greatest level of professionalism.

I bought a gun that was transferred to this store because it was closer than driving to San Diego; however, after my terrible experience of doing business with these people, I would rather have driven all the way to San Diego! I couldn’t believe how rude these owners were… especially Rose Mary! …and the prices were outrageous! I compared prices with Bass Pro, and I realized that Bass Pro is a lot cheaper! Hmmm… go figure! This was my first gun purchase; therefore, I was excited. I even took my father with me to pick up my gun. My father is ill… and it is quite evident that he looks ill — so, for these people to be rude and disrespectful to us shows a lack of compassion for customers, and people in general! I realize that this is a business… however, customer service counts! …especially for small businesses. I am a kind person who does not like to be ill-​treated. This place definitely lost my business.

I read some bad stuff on
about this place. well I gotta say some of it is true. The guy behind the counter is not MR personality. But i don’t go there for the conversation. I go there to get my guns fixed or buy stuff that I need. He did a great job accurizing my 700 remington. Trigger, float the barrel and glass the stock. Great job, fair prices. I drive a long way to give him my business because he does it right.
