The food I had was not good. Oily and poorly cooked. I can understand why they aren’t there anymore.

We had a great breakfast with our family. They where attentive to our needs, we have a 3 year old and and a 1 year old. And the food was good. We came here because the little green onion was busy. we will be back

Well, I’m torn. I loved this place before. Came today and the fries, they were big before. Now they’re shoestring potatoes. Doesn’t taste the same. The salsa they gave with the chips tasted like water. With lunch I asked for red and green sauce. Neither one had any kick to it. The tacos came with one tortilla and not two, like they normally do. The fish tasted fishy, aka cheap, and had hardly any batter on it. I could easily make 2 tacos before because they would serve 2 large pieces of what appeared to be double batteted fish. Prices seem to be the same so I’m not getting a discount. Steak and chicken tacos weren’t the same either. Won’t make this my last time here, but if I have the same experience next time I won’t be back. A little bent on this trip. Ugh.

Came here because a friend’s sibling recommended it. It wasn’t a horrible experience for me, just because I didn’t spend much money(two $ 1 tacos, one hard chicken taco, and a side of rice), but for my friends who ordered burritos, they were disappointed. The service was friendly. Our waiter was nice and happy with us, but when it came down to the food, it wasn’t amazing in the least. I got the chicken and carne asada tacos. The chicken was a bit dry, so that was a shame. The rice didn’t taste like much to me(red rice is usually my favorite mexican staple). My friend ordered a burger and specifically asked for no beans, but when he got it, it was filled with beans. Both of my friends didn’t enjoy their burgers, to get to the point. I admit the plating was cute though! In all, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this place if you’re looking for something extraordinary or impressive.

Went in for the lunch special and I can’t say I was super impressed. Burrito is a decent size and comes with beans, rice, and pico de gallo. The lunch special includes a drink for $ 5.99. Service was a little slow for my liking. The food came out and my friend had ordered her burrito wet style with green sauce… she got red sauce that had no flavor. My burrito was not bad but with so many other options I doubt this will be one of my choices anytime soon.

My family and I had found this place a little over a month ago. We were excited about the kids eat free special on Sundays. The cheese enchiladas plate is Ok, except the cheese wasn’t melted on the inside. Good burritos, stuffed with beans, rice, Carne Asada or chicken, Pico de Gallo. So far the service has been ok. I don’t know what was going on today, but we got there about 12 and waited so long before the food came, everyone was served at different times, the waitress claimed she didn’t hear my husband order pancakes with his omelet. Long story short, we didn’t get out of there until 2:00 and we were late for a car show and missed it. We were very disappointed, no apology or explanation, just got charged full price. I don’t think we’ll be going back there again.

Hello best chicken quesadilla I have ever eaten in my life! Seriously, if you live in Riverside by the Brockton Arcade you need to try this place. New ownership and the food is frickin awesome! Plus they have 2 for $ 5 domestic and 2 for $ 6 Import happy hour and a yummy looking list of margaritas…

Some of the freshest shrimp tacos and ceviche i have had in awhile. its super affordable and the service was perfect. I don’t really have anything negative to say. maybe just update the inside? Other then that i had a great experience. Will be coming back.

Not authentic Mexican food Husband and I had breakfast there. Huevos Rancho’s is two eggs with picante on top(no fried corn tort under).no meat. And a scoop of refried beans that tasted like rosarita’s. No rice or potatoes. Chicken taco is dried chunks of chicken, not shredded. The taco shell was almost burnt. ugh. Husband got enchiladas which weren’t bad but only because he got cheese and not«meat» enchilada’s. Sauce was good. Pancakes were good. Also.Ariana Grande music doesn’t exactly fit the ambience of the place. Service was good though but I would not recommend this restaurant to family or friends.

The ambience was the best part of the whole experiences. Service was slow and mediocre, they must of been short staff on a Friday night. The food was nefarious and not savory. I would save your money and go someplace else.

We decided to try this place it’s close by and why not it’s taco tues! 1. What Mexican Resturant doesn’t offer chips and salsa 2. No refill on horchata 3. Carne asada tasted old and was chewy! 4. Rice and beans weren’t authentic more like rice pealof and canned beans we ended up on buying chips and salsa while we waited and that was the best chips and salsa I have ever had for sure! Doubt we’ll come back.

I really liked this place. I ordered the shrimp fjitas, and my wife got the shrimp cocktail. Their salsas were good and flavorful, so it sort of set the tone for the rest of the food. The shrimp in the fajitas was slightly over cooker, but the flavoring was great, and everything tasted good a fresh-same for the shrimp cocktail. The only small complaint i have is that the fountain taps seem to be a bit off. My water tasted funny, and so did my wife’s sierra mist. Not a meal ruiner by any means. I drove past Little Green Onion on my way into this place and it boggles my mind why Little Green Onion is packed(their food is horrible and their service is mediocre, at best) and Las Palmeras was relatively empty. Their food is flavorful and fresh, their staff was attentive and polite, and their prices were great. If you’re looking for Mexican food and you’re around the Brockton area, try this place out. Its really good food. Oh! Deals: Tues/thurs: $ 1 chicken or steak taco Happy Hour: $ 4 margaritas from like 4pm to 9pm (they have a special everyday, but I don’t remember them all-Just go there already!)

I really love to support small, local businesses and desperately wanted to like this place, but it needs some work. I ordered the $ 5.99 burrito special and ended up with a $ 9 bill… for 1 burrito. Granted, I added avocado, but I was a shocked when she told me the amount. For $ 9 this burrito better whisper sweet nothings in my ear(en español, por favor). The burrito wasn’t bad, but it certainly wasn’t worth the price. Let’s just say I was underwhelmed. The water or taps have something funky going on. My special came with a drink and I asked for unsweetened iced tea. It was horrible. It tasted like stale water. I have the feeling their machines need some cleaning. Asked for a diet instead, the girl said she would need to reuse the to-go cup because they were almost out. The soda tasted pretty ick too. The service was fine and the waitress pleasant. I hope they can get it together. It’s good for Riverside when small businesses succeed. With all the good Mexican food in this city, they’ve really got to raise the bar.

Food is very good, waitress was very polite and very helpful. The portions were great and prices very reasonable I had the shrimp fajitas and my Mom had a shrimp burrito and she enjoyed it, the chips and salsa were delicious, I will return and I recommend this place and hope you enjoy it as I did.

This place is incredible! Please know one thing… this is my first review ever. I don’t want this place to shut down. The small businesses in this city get she down to often. But damn the food is good.

Las Palmeras is a new Mexican seafood restaurant in Brockton Arcade. Located in a former sushi bar, the interior still features aquariums and murals of Mount Fuji. Strange, but I assume they’ll redecorate once they’re more established. I came here to take advantage of a $ 5 coupon on meals under $ 50. Their menu is primarily seafood, with a selection of grilled fish, tacos, soups and shellfish. At the time of this review, their alcohol license is still pending, so I suggest calling ahead. I ordered a dozen oysters and the molcajete. Their Pacific oysters were enormous and surprisingly fresh for a blazing August afternoon. The molcajete – shrimp, chicken and carne asada stewed in a stone bowl – was more disappointing. While the shrimp were well-cooked, the carne asada was very tough. I had to reach for the salt shaker several times to keep it interesting. To be fair, the business is just over a month old and appears to be a two-person operation. With time, it could develop into something worthwhile. I’ll trust my fellow Unilocalers to keep me posted!
