I will start off by saying that Oscar is the only hair stylist that I have gone back to over and over again.
Both my husband and I go to get our hair cut with him. My husband had given up on finding a stylist that could give him a proper cut. In the past 5 years my husband has gone through so many different hair styles all thanks to Oscar.
I had never received so many compliments on my hair as when Oscar gave me my first hair cut. I loved that I took a picture of the cut I had in mind he saw it and right away said said «Oh I know what you’re going for I’ll give you a great cut. You’re going to love it» At that point he had already given my husband many cuts and I had complete trust in him. He nailed it! It was not the exact cut from the picture, but the results were great. The style he gave me completely complemented my face.
We have recommended Oscar to friends and family and everyone who has paid him a visit leaves with great hair.

I made an appointment with Oscar last week for the first time. When I first walked into his salon, I noticed how well the salon was decorated. That was the only good thing about my experiance. Oscar had an air of arogance toward me, as if he knew everything, and I knew nothing. Not only was he rude, but he fried my hair! I will never go to this salon again.

Oscar’s salon is a real asset to downtown Riverside and I am glad I stumbled on it. The salon itself is a well designed and comfortable space tucked away on Orange St. and Oscar is a wonderful stylist with a wealth of experience and expert skills. He’s also very personable and makes you feel welcome.
Price for a men’s cut with a wash and condition ($ 25.00) is very competitive as well and definitely a steal in terms of the quality of cut that you receive. I assume the same goes for women’s cuts, styles, colors, etc.
