My family and I love Panda, but this place so tight with there food portions and almost $ 10.00 a plate. The Chinese food just down from the give double the portion and even cheaper. Just disappointed. They can do better.

Horrible, lacks customer service, food portion not equivalent to prices. All around bad experience!

The lady tried to squeeze more money out of me the whole time. Next time I would drive another 500 ft. and go to the Chinese place by Subway. Way more food and cheaper.

Always soggy and gross. Even during rush times. Very very crappy. Hahaha do they happen to own the chipotle next door too? Its usually clean, but all the food is soggy and noodles and dried out.

There is an employee named Marilyn who works there and she is so sweet! She always has a smile and treats everyone so nicely. She needs a raise! Foods good of course. But being greeted by a friendly employee after waiting in a long line makes it worth it.

It’s Chinese food. Just Chinese food. Not anymore special than many other Chinese food places. Some hole in the wall Chinese food places are just as good and give huge portions that can be shared or taken home for when your hungry later. I always finish my food while I’m here because the portions are not big but I’d say their just right. I’ve always had good sevice here and the lines are ocassionally long which to me speaks well of the place. Not much more to add. It’s just Chinese.

Lol, much better this visit! Hubby brings me here because it’s one of my favorite nationalities of food and although they’re pricey it’s still cheaper than Dragon House or Thai food:/ #orangeChickenLove, when it’s not dry and hard

I’ve been here a couple of times. Most recent visit I was very disappointed. The teryaki chicken was so full of fat and the chow mein was very bland. The only location that in my opinion is the best is on Magnolia by Lowes. They are stingy on their portions but what you do get tastes good.

They need a new manager that’s professional with people skill. The little girl they have is terrible… it’s bad enough you’re stingy with the serving then she refused to sell me a plate for 2 items without rice or noodle. She said its against their policy. I told her that I’ll pay the full price because I didn’t want to waste the rice & noodle. She said she can only sell items in kiddy size container. Are u serious? I won’t be eating at this Panda. The sad thing is that I bought a plate 2 days ago without any problem of the same thing from a regular staff with no problem. This manager needs training. I had to get aggressive with her without going off. The sad thing is that the meal was for my husband. I will never ever enter the door of this business.

Have always had great service here. If the pans are low, I ask to wait for fresh; 5 min max. The place is always clean. Parking is a little sucky, but not their fault.

Great Panda outlet. Great service. Food is obviously good. I took my family here twice during the holidays and our experience was great. We dined is once and we did a take out once. The portioning was normal Panda standard despite the other reviews that I read.

I just wanted to take the time to give a quick review. This isn’t for the food, by all standards, it’s the same at every Panda Express and I would literally NEVER eat here if they didn’t have the Honey Walnut Shrimp. I just wanted to review to commend their employee this past Sunday at 11am. I think the receipt said her name was Beverly, a really pretty darker skinned gal. She was incredibly sweet and accommodating, brought our food plates and condiments out to us, smiled and seemed genuinely happy to be helping us. Thank you!!!

I’m going to recommend this place, but not if you’re looking Chinese food. As several other reviewers have mentioned, the food is often stale and old, and the portion sizes are usually fairly small. However, if you order exactly what I suggest, exactly how I suggest you order it, you might be pleasantly surprised.(Update from 5÷18÷2015 — beware who is cooking the food. Normally the older Hispanic man who cooks does a good job, but a young white woman prepared my food today, and there was very little meat and the mushrooms were barely cooked at all — crunchy in the middle. She was reading the recipe as she cooked and clearly had not been trained very well at all. I say it’s not good for Chinese food because the one item on the menu that I actually find enjoyable is called«Shanghai Angus Steak.» It is essentially cubes of steak, asparagus, mushrooms and onions in a mildly spicy sauce. I personally don’t think adding the word ‘Shanghai’ in front of something or serving it with noodles makes it Chinese, but if you enjoy steak and asparagus, you will probably like this. As for how to order, there is usually very little in the tray as it is a premium item and they don’t want to get stuck with any left over, so I’ve never had a problem getting them to make some fresh for me, even if there is some in the tray, so just ask. It will take about an extra 7 to 10 minutes, but it’s worth it. If you order a double portion, you will usually get more than two times a single portion, so that’s what I always do. I’m not a big eater, so it gives me enough for two meals, and for just over $ 10 for a freshly cooked meal of steak, asparagus, mushrooms and noodles, it’s really not so bad. Where else are you going to get anything like that around here? It’s not like we live in some kind of fine dining mecca, it’s East Riverside. Otherwise, if you’re just looking for gross tray food, Mr. You is just around the corner and you get way more food for less money, and they’re always really nice.

I love panda express but everytime I come to this location I get disapointed. They serve little portions & when I say little a mean little. Rip off of a place. Other than that nice staff & hot food.

Least enjoyable experience I’ve had with Panda Express. all food out was old looking and hardly any in each pan… Cook thought he was there to socialize more then cook… he was so loud complaining to other employees on other employees… he was so loud I couldn’t enjoy my meal as I heard word by word of his conversation. insisting to employees how he just comes to work to get what he needs done and leave… yet he was doing much more complaining then anyone! He should listen to his own story and stop announcing to everyone how other employees do nothing but complain… and then he walked to the food. took toothpicks and picked up as much as the toothpick would hold and walked away to eat the bite!

I’ve come here a few times and it’s decent, but today was terrible. The employee ‘Elena’ is so rude and really doesn’t care about anything. I order 2 bowls with orange chicken… one with fried rice and one with veggies. My toddler aged son was distracting me so when we finally sat down to eat I noticed the veggies were completely shriveled and dry. The orange chicken was dry and hard. It was lame. I went up to a different employee ‘Annabel’ and asked her for new food because it was gross. No apology but she said she would replace it. By the time they made new veggies Elena had to dish it up. It’s pretty lame when you pay $ 5-$ 6 per person for a bowl of food and it’s literally only half full. Thanks Elena… that’s great. Another customer even commented to her that she wasn’t scooping much food but she ignored them. I shouldn’t have to worry about being served old gross food and should be able to get the proper portions. I’m not sure if Elena is a manager, other employees were asking her questions and for help — if she is a manager, WOW… she’s one of the worst people I’ve ever had food served by.

Presentation: 3⁄10 Half the food wasn’t ready upon entering. Especially what I came in for. Service: 2⁄10 My order was forgotten. Had to check on it after 10 minutes of waiting. I did get an egg roll on the house. My meal was given to me in parts. Food: 2⁄10 Orange chicken not fresh. The other 2 items that I had to wait for was, but that’s to be expected. Overall: 2⁄10 Their is much room for improvement. I hope this review is taken as a wake up call. Until then please check their food presentation upon entering.

I eat here regularly and the food is not bad. It’s a pretty affordable meal of you are on the if and want to get a bite for your self or the whole family. With that being said, the quality of the food to me has declined noticeably since I first ate at Panda Express so many years ago in Rosemead, CA. I am sure it has everything to do with the bottom line of this Chinese fast food corporation. The employees even seem much less enthusiastic about working at Panda then in years past. The new dishes offered with Angus Beef, Shrimp and the sweet fire chicken are a welcomed update to the menu. The Kung Pao chicken is always a good pick if you like spicy. I can’t give Panda. Higher rating because it’s just a fast food joint now. Customer service at this location isn’t as good as other Pandas. It’s not like their rude but they are not friendly ether. Andrew and Peggy need to correct coarse and reinvigorate their management and employees. Or they can keep the status quo and continue to gross over a billion in revenue from the laurels of their past accomplishments. Panda is as good as any other buffet styled American Chinese cuisine no more no less.

Went looking for a phở restaurant but managed to find this place. When I went to order, I saw a big, ass pile of chow mein and fried rice. We ordered the chow mein, fried rice, beef broccoli and spring roll. When she got the chow mein and rice, talk about skimpy… she gave us like a scoop of each. I think the fortune cookie was more filling. I had to lift the bag to make sure I had stuff in there. Never again…
