Food is always great here! I had their club sandwich and fries. Best fries ever! The wait can be long, but just order before you get there. Once they took like 30 minutes with my order and I was on my lunch break so I was pretty upset, but they made it up by refunding my money and making my food ASAP.

Perfect for a casual lunch in downtown Riverside. I work across the street and generally either have lunch here or take out about 3 times a week. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is always good — try the daily wrap — a different wrap every day and all are great.

I’ve been Here To Have Lunch With My Gf who works at city Hall like 4 times and it gets better and better each time. the Atmosphere is chillin, service is great, and the prices are reasonable. you don’t expect to find such great food in a café inside city hall. The burgers And full sandwiches are ALL Huge, Delicious and Juicy! Who The hell is cooking Back There?!? SuperChefBobbyFlay?! LmFaO! But Dude. Seriously Dude. Theyve got fresh ingredients and everything is cooked percectly. Not really a family friendly type place. but perfect for lunch with coworkers or a lunch meeting. I wonder if they have beer. hmm. Anywho! Definitely pay these Guys a visit. Oh! Try the Sweet Potato Fries, Best ones I Ever had.

I’m a fan, except they changed the Ginger, bleh! I love the Chinese Chicken Salad. It used to have a wonderful slightly spicy ginger. Now, apparently, they’ve gone back to their usual vendor.Uck. Its over pickled/spicy. It is horrible. I sincerely hope they go back to their second vendor. Its slightly pink and tastes wonderful. The other stuff is VERYPINK/ORANGE and No bueno. So I suppose I’ll have to go back to the usual salad bar, which is fantastic as long as they keep it stocked up. The staff are friendly and helpful. Change the Ginger and you’ll have 5 stars!

I work nearby and frequently come for lunch. They’re daily specials are all really good. Their Torotilla Chicken Salad on Thursday is amazing, as well as the fetachini alfredo. Great lunch place.

I had breakfast here, they customized my order, food was delicious and affordable. Only reason I didn’t give them 5 was that it was served in a to go box but maybe they thought I was taking it out. Not sure but definitely recommend eating here. TVs and nice environment for business professionals.

I’ve been eating here since they first opened and am sad to say I think they are going downhill. They raised their prices not long ago but I’ve not seen much reinvested into this place. Ordered a bowl of soup. It is serve yourself. I was handed a large dull black scratched up plastic bowl. The soup pot is in an area covered by glass. The ladle handle is too long and bumps the glass making ladling your soup difficult and messy. The soup had a nice flavor but was not hot. Tepid at best. Very disappointing considering the prices.

I had a quick and convenient lunch here while on jury duty. I’m pretty sure I’ll be back. I love BLTs and their BLT w/avocado on grilled wheat was great.

One of my favorite«go to» places close to work. Sandwiches are good, salad bar is good, service is good! The portions are substantial and if I finish my entire meal I always feel and look like a bloated whale. On that note, try the sweet potato fries… they are wonderful!

I have had breakfast here in the past when waiting between client court hearings. Food has always been decent although it is pretty hard to mess up on breakfast items. The service is generally poor with a few exceptions so I am often reluctant to order any specialty coffees. If they do not pay attention to when the order is up from the kitchen and do not even ask if I want my refrigerated bagel heated, then I highly doubt they would pay attention to detail when preparing my $ 4 coffee. I ate lunch here with a few jurors a week ago and the burgers are decent. My favorite is the San Franciscan since it comes with grilled onions on grilled sourdough bread. The service is a bit better during lunch. The first day we ate here, I had french onion soup with my meal and it was ok. The next day another juror noticed the soup du jour was a vegetable soup but that it had a noticeable amount of onions in it. Most likely vegetables added to the leftover french onion soup? This place is decent for employees and jurors especially since you can refill your soda cup within the same day. Not a place I would go out of my way to dine at if I am not already conducting business in the area. We were informed that this café is owned by the same owner as Market Broiler. Interesting enough, I do not care much for the food or service there either.

A fairly decent menu for the office worker lunch crowds — but a little pricey. There is outside seating between buildings. The interior décor is modern, sparse, and a bit uncomfortable for a leisurely lunch. I think there was a TV but can’t remember for sure. I haven’t been motivated to go back. There are so many more choices in downtown Riverside.

Had their wrap of the day(Greek Chicken with feta cheese, olives, cucumber, etc) and I was a happy camper. Fresh ingredients, nice blend of flavours, all in an exciting red tortilla wrap. Coooool. THEN I ate the chips that came with the wrap… and they were melt in your mouth perfect thin cuts of happiness. Like, I can’t tell you the last time chips made me that happy. Anyway, little fruit cup came with it too, and frankly I couldn’t finish the entire wrap, much less all the chips. Filling, and for less than$ 8. They are kind of hidden, being that they’re INSIDE City Hall(which means I couldn’t find them until I read somebody else’s Unilocal.whoops.) Its either to go or you can sit in their dining area or on the patio, but it was packed soon after I nabbed a table, and my food was out after about 5 min, even with the long lone of ppl ordering. I’ll be back!

Working in City Hall I have to say having this Café is a big perk. Everything I’ve had here is good… it is a bit pricey, but the staff have always been very kind and helpful and the food is good. So its okay. If you’re looking for a deal they have pizza by the slice everyday at lunch time with your choice of: pepperoni, only cheese or whatever the special type is that day. I’ve had Chicken Caesar pizza, BBQ Chicken pizza & Chicken Pesto pizza… all were yummy :)

It’s only fair to disclose that I only had iced tea here. Unfortunately, I discovered the Raincross Café after I erred in choosing a lunch destination. This café is inside City Hall. It’s spacious inside and out. It’s a marriage of modern décor and casual dining. It offers a variety of dishes with friendly service.

I recently stopped in here to eat after transacting some business at City Hall. When I sat down to eat, a TV was blaring FOX News, which I personally find biased and offensive. I politely asked the manager if he would change the channel or turn the TV off temporarily. I was told the city manager ‘PRESCRIBES” the THREE approved channels which can be viewed in the café, and FOX News is one of them. After speaking to the security guard, the concierge and the city manager’s office, I was told by the city manager’s office that if I didn’t like the channel that was playing above my table, I could move elsewhere. I found this astounding. I expect consideration, as a paying customer, in any business. But as a taxpayer who pays the city manager’s salary, the upkeep of city hall, the cable bill for that TV and the utility bill to run it!!! NOCONCEPT of simple courtesy, let alone what’s good for business!
