Had Water leak in a wall that made a huge mess and they came and cleaned up the water and then repaired the damage in less than a week. Thanks

My insurance company hired Service Master Restoration after a drain back up. They came in and performed abatement with subs. The sub wasn’t good at all. They were supposed to cut 24″ off drywall. On one wall they cut 25″ because the idiots measured from the top of the carpet instead of the slab. That means you can’t use a full half sheet of drywall, wasting 48% of the cost. Now it is much more expensive for me as drywallers charge by the sheet. This is not entirely Service masters fault, but they should be better babysitters with their subcontractors. Communication was pretty bad throughout the process, but it was remedied fairly quickly when communication went awry. They worked pretty quickly, but since it was an insurance gig, they just did what they were paid to do and left me with a construction site of a living room. If they were better at service, I think somebody should have been there to talk to me about putting the house back together. I also had to spend about an hour pulling up staples and nails that they left from carpet and baseboard removal and they didn’t bring the proper tools for the job. I gave them a couple to borrow. They get two stars for the job they did, and lost one star for dismal attention to detail and lost the other two stars for the job they should’ve done.

These people are fraud they made accusations of not getting paid by my insurance company and then came after me. I did not appreciate the rude and accusatory conversations I have had with them. When the error was on their part and they had an inaccurate address on file. Horrible horrible!!! experience very unprofessional considering all they did was put a plastic with sand bags that didn’t withhold the winds. AVOID these people they don’t have their affairs in order.

I had water damage in my house, they came in my house dryed everything out in a professional order. Mike the guy who came into my house was very sweet and kept his crew on time. I was shocked that my house was back to normal in just a couple days. — Thank you

This bussiness is really bad. They bounced payroll check on 2-16-2015.They used excuses not to repay one after another and hang up the phone rudely. Do not trust this business and peoples.

Bobby at Service master plus came recommended from My real estate agent and my loan officer. When the work was completed everything looked great. The communication during the process is bad. I hired Bobby but he then sent a subcontractor that was late and liked to argue about what was and was not in the bid. I asked Bobby for a rough timeline or a schedule of when repairs would happen and I never got a reply. My home insurance called and said they needed proof I got a new roof within 6 weeks of the repairs starting and I said«no problem the repairs should take 2 – 3 weeks.“Bobby and his subcontractor Chris quoted me 2 – 3 weeks for everything to be done. 5 weeks later the roof was done. I asked Bobby for some documentation from the roofers about what exactly was done so i could show my home insurance. This was on a Thursday night and Bobby emailed me that he would send the info to my insurance man tomorrow Friday. I needed the documents sent no later than the following Thursday. As of Monday no documents were sent to my insurance man, I called on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, finally on Thursday the documents were sent to my insurance company showing that in fact I had received a new roof. My house closed escrow August 5, it is now October 7 and service master plus is not done cleaning up their waste as well as completing the job I was told should take 2 – 3 weeks. This is a classic example of Over promise under deliver.
