Stopped in for a combination carne asada Burrito on a Thursday morning and it was excellent!!! Unfortunately, my waitress was horrible. I ordered coffee and water as well. Food was out like in five minutes tops, which was awesome. As I wrote this review, I sat in my booth for ATLEAST30 minutes with an empty cup. NOT one coffee refill!!! Been here before with another waitress and never had this problem. Three stars is more for the poor service, but the food is excellent!!!

We settled to try this place because my go-to Mexican restaurant was suddenly shut down. The parking is located in the back and beware the parking spots are tight and close together. We entered through the back through a tight hallway. The inside is very old looking with traditional Mexican decorations. The floors were dirty and I stepped on about 4 different types of food before sitting down in the booth. The menu has a lot of variety. There is sit down available or you can order to go at the front. I ordered the carne asada torta. It really tasted and looked like a hamburger. It had mustard, tomato slices, and lettuce. It was pretty dry. I was expecting the more traditional torta with queso fresco and the carrot veggie stuff. Overall, the food wasn’t good but it also wasn’t bad. I would not come back here as there are plenty other Mexican restaurants to try.

Food is good here. I had an orchata and pozole. The orchata is one of the best I’ve ever had. Pozole was also good. Served a little too hot, but delicious. Menu is pretty big. Allot of choices. It’s located down the street from the holiday inn express.

I had only eaten here once before when a friend brought me here about 10 yrs ago. Didnt want to drive all the way to Redlands to eat so thought i would try something different. Took my mother along and when we arrived i had forgotten that you have to park in the back. It looked dead, as if closed. Sure enough it was open. We were the only ones there. I thought Oh no, what did we get ourselves into? The décor was sort of cheesy but the place is clean. My mother ordered 2 shredded beef tacos and a drink. I ordered a shredded beef taco, cheese enchilada and rice, no drink just water. The waitress brought us chips and salsa. The chips looked good and the salsa looked different. Both were all good. The food came quickly and looked very traditional to what you might get in Mexico. Hand made enchilada made on the fly not baked. Everything was very fresh and better than i had expected. The best part was only $ 11 for both of us to eat. The service was good also. Will be going back.

I go to this place all the time. I noticed the prices getting more and more expensive, and this time the counter person wanted to charge me $ 1.25 for a small cup of salsa I always get for free when I spend $ 20 on a couple of burritos. I can get the same kind of burrito at another Mexican place down the street for $ 14. I guess things are changing. I’m not going to this place anymore. It’s not the only Mexican food place in town.

Wow, this place is popping! Lots of traffic at lunch hour, so maybe call in & order to go if you don’t have time? They seemed a little short staffed for the holiday weekend, but the ladies took my order pretty quickly, & the food was great. Affordable. I ordered huevos con chorizo y corn tortillas. The tortillas were very greasy-I’ll pass on those. But for the price, traffic & menu selection, I’d say this place is a hit, especially with the locals. The waitresses were also very helpful in spite of the traffic although they didn’t check up on me or the guy across from me who I could see was having a similar experience with the wait & service. Even got a lil side salad as a garnish, but hey the dressing was pretty good, so I had a few bites! When leaving, I asked for the check, but I saw a few people paying up front, so I passed on waiting any longer.

A great little hole in the wall. The fish tacos and civiche was bomb. My wife liked their carne asada burritos. I have a hard to please palate, but that civiche was really good. The atmosphere is a little cheesy, but that is to be expected for a hole in the wall.

Pozole was bland. My boyfriend’s food was bland. We did not like it at all. Service was basic. It was truly whatever. For a mexican food i will not be back there are much better competitors like TINA’s.

So glad we came across this place! Seriously the best wet burritos I have ever had. I was confused by the menu so I just asked the waitress for a chicken burrito and voila. She was SO friendly and was able to tell me every ingredient that came in my burrito normally. It literally took about 5 minutes, IFTHAT, for our food to arrive to our table. It was fresh, hot and DELICIOUS. Kind & fast service… We definitely recommend. Wish we lived closer to this gem!

This is some of the best Mexican food in the Inland Empire! I was shocked to see such a low rating. Their beans and rice are AMAZING. Fresh, homemade tortillas are so good. They have the best Huevos Rancheros I have ever had! The service is outstanding. This is a hidden gem for Mexican food. Stop reading and start eating! GONOW!

First time here. I had a potato and egg breakfast burrito. Very good rice, very good seasoning. I did mine with no beans. I will definitely come back. Very clean in spite of the dated décor but I happen to like it. Murals on the walls, a tv and I noticed they have margaritas and pins coladas for 9.95 a pitcher. I will be investigating that when I come back for dinner. A must try If you are anywhere close. I came 20 minutes and well worth the trip. Oh, the one critique on the negative is that their salsa is too thin, chips too thick and apparently they charge if you want more then one. Ok, so, I came back and was not as impressed this time around. The rice had no flavor even after adding some watered down salsa, salt and then some green I asked for as another attempt which was brought to new cold. The rest was ok but at the end, the waitress accidentally dumped a full glass of diet soda on me. I was quite literally soaked. I wasn’t too upset until I noticed is that she also got my $ 150 shoes wet. I still didn’t make a big deal out of it. It was an accident and she was, of course, very sorry and ran to get me a towel. The problem I have is they made no effort or attempt at any compensation. Not even part of the meal. It’s a bit of a pet peeve to me when you pay extra for a service and then when something is not right there is no compensation or attempt to make it right. I waited to see what they would do and what they did was put the waitress on a break and ignore us for the rest of the time until we went up ourselves to pay the bill. At this point I was not willing to tip but there happen to be a tipping bowl out at the counter and the girl who checked us out actually pushed the bowl towards us when I did not add a tip. I just ignored that and now I won’t be back. It’s sad a 4 star went to a 2 star in just one visit and that this kinds of service lost them a customer but that’s how it rolls. Btw, when I went into the bathroom it smelled of terrible sewage problems and I noticed that the towel they gave me to dry off was dirty.

Good food in a old building. Dining area looks like an old Italian restaurant. Staff was nice. You can dine in or take out. Food was fast and fresh. I will be coming back. Parking is in back and not too big. All in all it is good food In a clean but old environment. Salsa could be better.

Pros: the salsa is tasty and the carne asada is okay. Cons: the carnitas are soggy, the chile verde does not taste anything like chile verde, they are greedy with the salsa and refills(what kind of sit down mexican restaurant charges for refills and more salsa?) Conclusion: I will NOT be going back again!

Worse service and lousy food. Requested a chili relleno burrito without onions. I received the opposite. I also opened the burrito up to see what it contained and it had pieces of meat. Because I opened the burrito and had taken a few bites before noticing the onions. They wanted to change me for the burrito. Decore was shabby and parking is terrible. Don’t waste your time.

Ive been here several times, and each time its gotten worse. Their tacos meat is lumpy or chunky, and a bit bland. Their cabeza WAS some of the best I’d had, but the last 2 times, they skimped on the meat.(Cabeza is CHEAP guys) Since I wasnt impressed with their Al Pastor, Carne Asada, OR Carnitas, Ive been ordering Cabeza burritos. I like that they leave some fat on the meat. But the LAST time I was there, they threw the burrito on the plate so hard, it exploded on one end. THEN they proceeded to wrap it in paper anyway. It looked like the waitress was serving me a dirty diaper. When I dared to unwrap it, the tortilla was stale and looked like it had psoriasis. There was hardly any meat, but plenty of soupy refried beans. The waitress is nice, but nothing more. They give you one(1) small bowl of chips and a little salsa if you dine-in, but just one. Additional is 1.99, which I think is a little obnoxious for a mexican restaurant. The chips are a bit hard, but the salsa is SPICY and quite delicious. Close to work, so I“ll still go there, but only if I crave chips and salsa.
