As soon as I walked in I smelled the floor that got mopped with dirty water, that killed it for me. Didn’t get to eat but probably won’t go back.

Great food was very busy and the girls at the desk where very nice and also made sure my food was correct. Love this place its small inside but it makes up for it in taste. If you want food fast don’t go on the weekends because it takes time because of the amount of people that order. But overall its great.

This place is legit, food is really good. Downside is that it can take a while, and Taco Tuesdays will have you waiting forever. Parking is bad, and a nightmare on TT as well. Still, I’d rather wait than goes anywhere else in the area for tacos.

Tacos from Culiacan are meant to be simple and this place nailed it. I originate from Culiacan and this took me back in time to when I could walk down the street and have some tacos out of a stand. I’m so happy that I found this place. The salsas were on point. In Culiacan they only serve an avocado salsa and two red salsas. We don’t serve chips or beans or anything else. Also, the only sides that you should have are cucumbers, radish, and grilled jalapeños/onions. Thank you for bringing an authentic Culiacan taco place to the U.S.

Ok, so I found this place on Unilocal… Looked decent, or so I thought. I walked in and the place was almost full, and so I thought to myself that it must be good. WRONG!!! Terrible customer service … Terrible terrible terrible … We sat ourselves, rummaged the menu, about 15 minutes later a girl comes up takes our drink order and our food(3 tacos and 1 quesadilla) not a big order ok… a few seconds later our drinks came out… Super quick… We sat and waited for our food … Surfing the web and playing games on our phones, we didn’t even notice that 20MINUTESLATERWESTILLDIDN’T HAVEANYFOOD!!! I waved the waitress over and asked how much longer it was going to take … Her answer was«oh, I don’t know» and walked away … We stood up went to the counter and told the waitress we were just gonna pay for our drinks and go… She said ” $ 6 dollars” so I paid and thanked her for the crappy service, she laughed as the door closed behind me. I definitely don’t recommend, unless ur willing to wait more than 35 minutes(if that) for your food order. I wish I could give 0 stars but it’s not an option. I should have listened to the other reviews.

Food was good, service was good, cevada drinks are good, the only thing the meat was a little salty but the limon and salsa made it better … Little pricey we payed 27 for 4 tacos de arina and 2 drinks

So, it’s been over a year since visiting this establishment. Since I live around the corner I decided to give this local business another chance. May I say that there has been a great deal of improvement with the food. The carna asada had intense flavor, that went well with the tacos, vampiro, and quesadilla that we ordered. The aqua de sebada is still on point, and not extremely sweet. Now that the food here has improved I will definitely be a regular customer.

I really wanted to like this place since there isn’t any good taco places in Riverside. I pulled up and the man outside on the grill was really nice and did his best. Unfortunately the waitress inside was so rude. The fake blond had a «foochi» face the whole time. Not once did she smile or seem polite. The tacos are OK, nothing great. I will most likely not come back here. The tacos are OK, but the customer service is what ruined it for us. Fyi– if you want good tacos in riverside make them yourself or make the drive to LA.

Me and my bf were looking for somewhere that had good tacos. After a few trips to different places in town, i think we finally found our taco spot! Simple menu but I feel that’s what makes it authentic. No fancy-ness. Good tacos at a good price. Will be back!

Best authentic tacos I have ever had in California. They have grilled onions and grilled chiles. They also have flour tortillas.

My husband had been wanting to go for the longest time so one friday we were hanging out with friends and decided to go, we got there and only two tables were taken so we figure we wouldn’t have to wait a long time for our food, well we were wrong, after one hour passed and we didn’t get our food or drinks we asked the waitress and she said it was coming, one hour later we were still waiting, we had to go again and ask for our drinks, we got tired of waiting so we finished our drinks and decided to leave. My guess was that they ran out of meat or something had to be wrong because the wait was ridiculous. My husband wanted to eat there so bad that i told him we would go back another day but then i went to their Instagram page and left them a comment on a picture telling them about our experience, not only did they deleted the comment but they also blocked me. My comment simply said that we were hoping for a better experience and we didn’t even had a change to taste the food. instead of taking the time to write back and say that they were working on better service or that something had been wrong that day they were so unprofessional, or maybe they just don’t care about customer feed back.

Never gave this place a second thought until I called off from work one day and felt adventurous. These tacos are served up legit estilo culiacan. Had tacos, a quesadilla and mulas accompanied by a mexican coca. Carne asada was good but the adobada was on point. Definitely need to come back and try the rest of the menu. At least now I have an actual excuse to call off from work next time.

If you want a simple meal, i would day this place is ok. I wanted to give them 3 stars but i just can’t. The tacos are OK, they didn’t wow me but they are a decent size. Sauces are good but again, they didn’t wow me. They have their sauces in squirt bottles on the table so their condiment bar seems lacking. Other places offer a plethora of options and frijoles de la olla, if this place wants to compete they need to step up their game.

I came across this place on my drive home from CBU. I wanted tacos for dinner and found Taqueria Tomateros. This place won’t disappoint you and I guarantee it. Food is quite affordable! Their menu is under 10 bucks!!! So I asked the girl working what she recommends and she recommended me the Papa Relllena with any meat I want. I tried it with carne Asada. I have to say, I was satisfied! It’s kind of like a mixture of mashed potato and baked potato with cheese and the typical toppings for carne Asada. It didn’t fill me up but it definitely hit a good spot. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Riverside area. 5 stars for quality service and food.

Drove by here about a month ago and couldn’t resist stopping. It was Taco Tuesday. I have been back at least a dozen times since. The chicken tacos are to die for. The meat is cooked thoroughly, but not burned and cut into small, almost shredded size pieces. The avocado sauce is supreme. One of the best I have ever tasted. They cook the meat fresh on a grill right outside. It’s an older building so don’t expect anything fancy. It is clean though and the staff has always been helpful and welcoming. They have a very small menu. Tacos. Tortas. Quesdadillas. Potatoes with Cheese & Meat. Beans. Rice. I think Menudo. They also have some amazing pineapple water. So refreshing. The jamaica is pretty tasty too. Tuesday nights can get busy, but besides that there’s usually not a long wait. I think this might have to do with the small menu too. They have all the basics. Don’t let the limited menu keep you.

Great tacos I have EVER had! Beats king taco anyday! If you want AUTHENTIC home style tacos this is the place to go. Freshly cooked on the grill and Made to order. Their bean, rice, cheese, asada burritos taste amazing! Their Aguas Frescas are also some of the very best! Try their pineapple! Plus, very friendly and speedy staff. Must try place! Highly recommend!

1. Location – I came because this used to be an Indian restaurant and I had a craving. To my surprise, I saw that it is now a Mexican restaurant. 2. Payment method – cash/credit. The tacos were $ 1.50 each. 3. Staff – there were three ladies, a BBQ man, and a little boy. They were all busy and friendly. 4. Taste/quality – The first thing I noticed was their simple menu. You can order the small«street tacos», quesadillas, etc. There weren’t any burritos. It seems like they were more about quick food options that don’t take long to make. I ordered carne asada street tacos, pollo quesadilla, and a coke. I was surprised by how fast my food was prepared – I waited no more than 10 – 15 minutes. The tacos tasted just like street tacos in Tijuana. They were pretty good, although they could have used cilantro. The quesadilla was good too. 5. Cleanliness – the place literally looks the same from when it was an Indian restaurant. The furniture has a little wear and tear, however, I didn’t come here to eat their seats. It was pretty clean inside and the waitress continued to wash the tables as I ate. Overall – the other reviews were a bit harsh. I gave this place 4 stars because it wasn’t bad. If you are looking for a quick taco and you’re in the area for lunch, this is the place to go.
