Woodcrest Vision Center Optometry

Not sure what’s going on, my daughter was promised 2 weeks for her glasses, it’s been two months now and they just keep making up excuses as to why her glasses aren’t ready yet. Quite unprofessional.

I’ve never had this bad of experience before.
I went to woodcrest vision beginning of December, and with it being the holidays of course I expected the wait time for my glasses to be a little longer than normal.
The expected time they’d be done and shipped was the beginning of January. It’s the middle of February, and my glasses are still not in.
I went in the other day because they were supposed to be there, and I went in and they weren’t even out of the UPS packaging yet. When it was opened, my glasses were warped and unusable.
One of the optometrists tried putting in new lenses that weren’t bifocal (which is what I’ve been waiting to get) and it just gave me a headache for the rest of the day when I tried them on. So I still left empty handed.
She was trying to be helpful, so I’m glad she at least tried.
However, during this whole process, every week I called they’d extend the time I’d have to wait. They could never give me an actual date of when my glasses would arrive. I’ve been needing them for work, class, and for driving; and they still have not arrived.
Overall, I just want to get my glasses and be done with the place.

I came in for an eye exam and was surprised by how advanced the exams were. It had been a while since I had checked my eyes and I’m glad I came here first. I got my prescription and ordered glasses from WP. The staff were sweet and helpful and the doctor was personable and professional. I am bringing my family to this Optometrist

I came here just for new glasses. They have several options to choose from and great prices. Customer service is awesome. they also have warranty on the glasses, which is amazing because I have been to several places when my glasses break and there is nothing they would do. I will be back here for a exam next year.

I absolutely will not take my children anywhere else. The level of care and service here is 100%. Dr. Vanessa is fabulous at what she does and offers a level of care that simply isn’t seen anymore. I trust my children’s eyesight to woodcrest vision!

Dr. Vanessa is amazing at what she does! She goes above and beyond and her service is superb! Dr. Vanessa does what’s right for the customer by offering different options and finding solutions for our vision needs. She’s courteous and professional. She’s very attentive, engaged and friendly. Also this location has its own lab so we received our items faster. I would definitely refer to family and friends!

Dr. Vanessa is a blessing. She takes care of you and is very thorough. She explains everything clearly and makes it easy to understand. She’s very pleasant and we just love her.

Great friendly place to get your glasses or contacts. Dr Vanessa is very knowledgeable and informative. I happily refer all my friends and family to them.

My wife and I needed a new optometrist and we were looking to take our business to a locally owned shop. We were referred to Dr. Vanessa through a friend and she provided exactly what we needed. I called on a Tuesday and her helpful staff was able to fit us both in on Thursday afternoon! Came in for the appointment and the service was outstanding. Dr. Vanessa was very punctual and helpful: She explained everything she was doing throughout the examination, which helps because its always awkward when someone is staring into your eyes.
She made a great assessment on my needs and her staff was able to install new polarized lenses in my sunglasses frames during my visit! They also had a good selection of frames.
My wife had a great experience too and got exactly what she needed.
Overall, we are both very happy with our new optometrist!

5 Star Experience. I was actually a little nervous about getting a first real eye exam but by the time I left the exam room, I was aware of all my options, understood my vision, and the best choice for my situation. Dr. Shaw-​McMinn was wonderful and explained each test in detail so that I knew exactly what she was doing the whole time. The staff on site helped me find awesome frames at a very reasonable price and explained my insurance in detail.
Every employee here is friendly and beyond helpful. The choice of frames is fantastic, and the overall appearance of the business is very clean. I could not be more pleased with all the solutions that were provided. I love this place!
