I love Chinese food, and I really like this place, it’s been here in Riverton for a really long time, my favorite is the egg rolls. When I’ve been there, the waitresses were very nice, and they did their job very well. I would recommend this for you if you like Chinese food!

Really great tasting, the portions were a little big though. Great service, great prices, great food. Their sweet and sour chicken in particular was delicious.

Have you ever made a restaurant choice that you IMMEDIATELY regret? Well, this was mine. I was driving down redwood and made a poor food choice at lunch time. I was hungry, in the mood for Chinese food, and saw their $ 4.99 lunch special sign. My first red flag should have been walking in to what appeared to be an episode of hoarders. Boxes and bags of supplies were stacked anywhere and everywhere they would fit. Then the little details came to view; menu holders and booth dividers held together with packing tape, specials printed up and taped seemingly random locations on the wall that look like something their 5 year old nephew printed up, menus repeatedly ‘edited’ with a black magic marker. I should have left, but I was committed. It had become a personal food dare. Food did come out quick and it was cheap, only $ 5 bucks. Also, on the plus side, I did NOT get food poisoning. However the food was not worth the low low price. I could practically smell the msg. The noodles were a greasy slimy clump. The meat was overcooked and had the consistency of jerky or perhaps a dog treat. I do not know how a place like that can stay in business when clearly no one there cares about the condition of the restaurant. So, learn from my mistake and go home and make a sandwich instead.

I’ve been here about 100 times and have finally decided to never return, the service is awful, some servers would like to talk about their whole life stories and some were very mean, not to mention they would never refill our drinks or remove our empty soup bowls or plates, the egg drop soup tastes like cam bells chicken noodle soup, straight from the can, the chow main is alright, its very dirty and one time my daughter spilled her soup all over her and the server would not get my daughter a new one, she gaves us two napkins to clean it up… last time i was there was a month ago and i got diarrhea for five days, never again! i am beginning to hate all chinese places!

Great place to eat Chinese :) I had orange chicken, egg roll, and fried rice(pretty standard). Atmosphere is pretty standard Chinese restaurant. Service was very friendly and attentive. PLUS family of 4 ate lunch for $ 30!

Restaurant owned by family from Hong Kong had me hopeful. Employees were not very friendly though. Food was even worst. If you like fried meat and sweat and sour sauce, this place might be for you. For me, it’s not worth a return visit.

Got the lo mein which was more money than their chow mein but it was more like ramen noodles without the flavoring packets. Also paid 4.50 for 3 egg rolls that were really spring rolls which they told me they didn’t have. This place is over priced and a joke. Worst place to eat in Riverton hands down.

I’m usually not one to complain about food I eat because I like just about everything but this place was really pushing my desire to continue eating… It tasted like they opened a bag of recycled Panda Express Chinese food, heated it up, and served it out to their customers. The waitresses were fine, definitely tried to be personable but I couldn’t seem to see any real desire to be serving us, as well as giving us take out boxes within ten minutes of getting our food as if to want us to not linger in the restaurant. All in all if your looking for good Chinese food sorry to say its not here. :(

I moved here from CA, 3 years ago and have been on a hunt for a mom and pop Chinese restaurant like are prevalent in CA. I stopped in here recently with my kids. Oh my word, GROSS! I don’t even know what we took a few bites of. It was supposed to be chicken. The chow mein was disgusting. Seriously, the Taco Bell across the street is a 5 star eatary compared to this joint. Save your money and fast for a day… yuck!

This little mom and pop has been in town for over 20 years. You get what you pay for in this restaurant. The Chinese food is average, much American influence, the American fare is the staple of their business. Lunch and dinner specials of breaded veal, steaks, fried chicken, fish and chips, halibut etc. The restaurant is a favorite of construction workers, the greatest generation, and young families. For two adults and two children your bill is under 35 bucks. If you are expecting more then lunch fare on a budget go to Asian Star. For a quick bite from a true family business stop by for god food not a Michelin Star.

Their sign out front should read: Keep Away! This is, without exception, the worst chinese I have eaten(ok, I ate what I could stomach). I’m not sure how they stay in business, but it’s certainly not due to me, my friends, or my family. We were in the mood for good Chinese take-out, and dropped in to this place after grocery shopping(it’s next door). BOY am I sorry I didn’t look up the reviews before we paid money for this… First, I understand that drop in orders take a bit longer than call-ins, but we waited a full 35 minutes for ours — and there were no other customers eating or waiting.(If I’d had a crystal ball, I would have been better off just giving them the $ 28 and leaving with no food.) We ordered a few pretty typical Chimerican choices — Kung Po Chicken, Ham Fried Rice, Lemon Chicken, and Pork Chow Mein. More than half of the liquid contents had leaked out of the containers before we even got it home, which soaked the paper bag container, what a mess… The remaining half was still mostly sauce, extraordinarily greasy, tasteless, and completely inedible. It even looked nasty. The 4 bites I took left a big lump in my stomach that I would rather have gouged out with a pitchfork than ever go back here. P. S. the counter service was mildly friendly. Never let it be said I don’t give proper credit where it’s due.

My husband and I just moved to town and we were hoping a small mom and pop Chinese place would be good. Alas, it wasn’t that great. We MIGHT try again just to see if it was just what we ordered. The menu also had lots of Anerican food. Why???
