Solid 4 stars. Deserving of more than a three star average. Best shakes in town and the grill food is great — especially the crispy fries. Good atmosphere too. Our whole family loves Iceberg and has regular cravings that we’re happy to indulge :)

20 min for one hamburger and onion ring in the drive in. Only car here. Slow inside. Asked what was taking sibling and she said I don’t know. 5^th time I’ve been here with horrible service and wrong food. Cold food

Delicious ice cream and huge servings. have to save it in the freezer for a few days before I can finish it. Awesome service and the workers always give good combination ideas for shakes. Love it here.

I had a great experience here… I’ve been to other locations but by far this was the cleanest one I’ve been too! Besides that my food was fresh and staff was knowledgeable

The service is great, the food rocks, and they have the biggest onion rings around! Don’t forget to try their awesome shakes!

Good shakes that are huge. It usually takes several days to eat one. I would give the shakes three stars. The mixed in drinks are good as well. But, the rest of their food leaves something to be desired. The rest of the food is really greasy, fries are often soggy, and so I usually come for just the shakes.

I found the food to be of really poor quality, and was treated really poorly when I gave them a bad review. The whole experience was surprisingly bad. I won’t be back.

So we went here after we just went swimming, and got two twist cones a #5 and a medium fry. The Dr. Pepper tasted like it was about to run out. But their employees made up for it. They were so kind and very efficient. The food tasted fresh and ice cream is the best on a hot day!

Love the shakes from this place. They have some of the best onion rings out there.

Huge shakes! My kids love the small shakes that all require a spoon to eat, no straws for these guys. We usually pass on the non stimulating over priced greasy food, but they have some great specials on Tuesdays where all meal deals are $ 5. Make sure they put enough toppings in those shakes… We’ve sometimes had to go back to get more in them… depends on the teen in charge, but they’ve always obliged adding more and blending it in.

Great food and killer shakes!!! The drive thru is a bit slow, but definitely worth the wait.
Iceberg is a Utah tradition… so if you haven’t checked it out you need to get off your couch and gorge yourself in the caloric greatness that Iceberg has to offer!

So I just when through the drive thru and ordered a burger with ketchup and cheese only for the hubby and a fish sandwich with tarter sauce only. I get through it and I have ketchup on my fish sandwich and no cheese and mustard on the burger. So I go through a second time tell them what’s wrong. I get out of the drive thru and I have no tarter sauce no cheese on my fish sandwich and mayo on the burger. I pull in the go into the restaurant. I spoke with a woman behind the counter with a head set on and explained this is my 3^rd attempt. She asked the single Mexican woman to make it again. So she pulls out a frozen fish patty out of the freezer and puts it in the deep fryer as she glares at me. Then while she waits she emptied the garbage that is right next to the deep fryer. Comes back pulls fries out of the fryer grabs them with her hands using the same pair of gloves she just swept and took out the trash in and starts boxing up my food. The lady brings it over to me and I laughed at her. I told her the lady used the same pair of contaminated gloves the entire time she prepared my food as she did everyone else in the drive thru. Make it again! With new gloves and when she changes gloves she needs to wash her hands. There is no point in contaminating new gloves with dirty hands! She goes back to the little Mexican woman and explains about her cleaning and preparing food. She looks up at me and gives me the dirtiest look. She restarts to make my food everything is good until she scratches her head with the gloves she is making my food with. WOW! Are you serious??? I yelled out don’t worry about the food, I just want my money back because I will clearly not get a properly prepared meal here. Took my money and went to café rio down the street! I will never eat here again!

Giant shakes, quick food, fair prices, and it’s definitely on the better side of your dining choices out in this area. I’ve never been disappointed in a shake here, and love when they have the fried zucchini. Pairs so well together when you’ve driven so far into the end of the valley.

I visit this location on occasion but have never left a review. Overall the food is pretty good. If you are looking for High Dining you are in the wrong place. I love their onion rings as they are so huge I joke with my wife that they came from Skull Island where King Kong lived. :) I am a firm believer that if a place is bad then it should take its licking. I read another review on here and if the guy had that bad of an experience did he tell anyone? It just seems suspect to me that someone that trashes a joint so badly in one breath then advertises another location in the next is one of those «Things That Make You Go Hmmm.» moments. My recommend is try a burger with the red relish. It’s awesome. And their strawberry shake is SWEET!

If I could put negitive stars I would. This place is is just over priced trash. The food is crappy and service is worse. Was told I was a lier by the manager richard. Who calls a customer a lier with a smugness that cant be believed. I would steer clear of this place if you value customer service and good food, Mc Donalds accross the street is a much better choice for value and customer service. Im a firm believer in supporting local buisness but in this case it is unfounded.

They are pretty slow at the drive through, but the food is way good and the onion rings are HUGE! I also love their fries, I think they are battered and then fried, only fries I will eat! Their shakes always melt and make a huge mess in my car, so I try to stay away.

Unless your just going for a shake, stay away. The staff is incompetent and WILL most likely screw up your order, its very expensive for fast food and the wait time is ridiculous.

OK — It’s not really fair that this place only has 1 (unfiltered) review and it’s 1 star. It’s not fine dining but honestly — there’s really nothing wrong with this place if you’re looking for fast (er) food!
The food has always been good. Always made fresh to order (no patty warming trays here) and the portions good. The zucchini sticks in the summer are excellent — mmmm, deep fried vegetables. Just the way I like them!
The cones and shakes are HUGE. They have 2 sizes and in both instances the shake «wall» goes 2 – 3 inches above the top of the cup. I love that you can get any combo of flavor /​mix in that you want. My poison is a chocolate caramel malt with cashews. I usually have to keep it in the freezer and am eating this thing for days! TIP: you can ask for the ice cream cones in a cup, and they’ll turn them upside down for you and give you a spoon. The only way I’ll allow my 2 year old to have one!
And can I just say PEBBLE ICE?! When I’m pregnant I crave this stuff by the pound, and at Iceburg I can buy it just like that (in big bags) and it keeps me satisfied for the … day … or so. Love it.
Iceburg is a part of my Utah childhood and I love that there’s a location out in this part of the valley that I can now bring my kids to! I grew up going to the location on 7^th east in Murray with my grandparents!

This is a new location and considering I have not been to any of the other Iceberg’s yet I cannot comment on how it compares to those, only a recent experience at this one with a friend. Also this review is of the shakes not the food!
This is in a new building and the interior is small but very nicely appointed in the diner style of the 50’s. My friend and I both order chocolate malt shakes. I had never been to an Iceberg however they are legendary around Utah and one of their shakes was featured on the cover of a recent Salt Lake Magazine.
Our experience at this place with the shake was disappointing. First, the quality of the ice cream was nothing different than what I’ve had at other local places around Salt Lake area like Crown Burger. Second, you couldn’t taste any malt until about halfway down. Third, we both discovered the majority of our malt at the BOTTOM of t he cup!
I will go and try the original Iceberg Drive In to see if its any better at some point, but right now, my favorite place for the same flavor is Ab’s in West Jordan. It is consistently excellent from start to finish. Hires also runs a close second! (I have yet to try Millie’s and Shivers.)
