I have purchased 2 Cannondale road bikes from these guys. There service is and pricing is great. The employees are very nice and don’t talk down to you like other bike shops. They know their products and won’t try and up sell you on stuff you don’t really need.

Great customer service! I am an out-of-state Infinite Cycles customer; I e-mailed them seeking advice for a technical issue with a Cannondale — and they got back to me with a detailed response in less than one hour — on a Saturday! These guys are indeed the Cannondale Experts — highly recommended!

Before I leave a review, I like to put myself in the shoes of the business. I ask myself questions like — was it a simple misunderstanding or mistake, etc. These guys seem to try, but fall short of the mark. I’ve been into Infinite Cycles at least half a dozen times. Half of the time, I get what I need and leave with no problem. The other half is why I’m giving them a two star review. Let me be specific… I brought my bike in late spring for a complete tune up. I also picked up a new saddle, bar tape, and tire liners. I spent about 30 minutes talking to the mechanic/sales guy about the bike, and listened carefully to his recommendations. Investing $ 200+ in a $ 500 bike is not a trivial decision. Did I want to spend 40% of the value of the bike getting it up to speed, or would that money be better spent towards a new bike? Ultimately, I decided to invest the money in the old bike, trusting that it would run like new when I picked it up. It was during one of their busiest times of the year, so it wasn’t ready for a week. This didn’t bother me. On the first ride, I noticed an improvement. The bike seemed to ride and shift better. But by the second ride, it felt like the pre-tuneup bike I had brought into them a week earlier. First — I got a flat. When I went to change the tire, I realized they didn’t put in the tire liners I had paid for. Second — the shifting became loose. The bike doesn’t have the nicest components on it, but after a solid tuneup, I expected the shifting to be crisp for at least a month… maybe the whole summer. Third — after using the bike for two months, the bar tape they sold me had all but worn out, and had to be replaced. Fourth — the bottom bracket needed to be completely overhauled again within two months. I have a few other anecdotes worth sharing… While I was talking to the sales guy about my bike, another customer had walked out… having been ignored for nearly 30 minutes. The«puncture-proof» tires they sold me last year, were hardly puncture proof. In fact, another bike shop told me that they were more of a racing tire, than a puncture resistant tire. In a nutshell, I feel like I get the wrong advice and products when I do business with them.

Infinite cycles has been around for about five years now. In some respects they really succeed, but they still need to work out some details before they deserve a hearty recommend. Pros: –Staff: A few members of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and personable. They’ll be happy to talk with you for half an hour about what bike will fit your needs, and what the advantages of «x» are. –Selection: They’ve got a good selection of Cannondales. If that’s what you’re looking for, this is the place to go. –Community: They organize a few rides during the year, and also have Saturday group rides when weather permits. –Lifetime service(if you buy a bike there, doesn’t cover parts/abuse) Cons: –Organization: Their biggest flaw in my opinion. They organize the«Tour de Riverton», and I’ve paid to ride three different years. On two of those occasions they didn’t have shirts to give us. On one of them we paid very early and showed up to the race on time, but they had given all the shirts to race-day sign ups. Course is poorly defined. On July 2 we rode an extra 5 miles up an arduous climb to realize later it wasn’t part of the course. Everyone around us did the same. It didn’t bother me to get some extra exercise, but this seems sloppy and lazy. Oh, and the time of the event was posted as a comment on their facebook page, and nowhere else. The shop’s site, the event site, and the registration materials did not provide this information. –Staff: Depending on when you show up, they’ve got at least one employee who doesn’t seem to know what he’s talking about, and needs to go ask a superior for help and answers. –Selection: Hope you’re not looking for a Specialized, Lemond, Bianchi, etc.
