This reviewer has no doubt that Lock 4 knows how to party. I arrived on a mid-week afternoon for a cheap bite and drink while passing through. The bar was well-populated by locals who all paused to see who dared enter their lair. «Oh. Its, that guy» The bartender told me to sit anywhere and she was an attentive server during my meal. The menu was standard road side fare. Burgers, sandwiches, a couple salads. I ordered a fish sandwich with jalapeño tartar. Thinking back, I have no idea what prompted me to order seafood in middle America. However, my momentary lapse was not punished. The fish had undoubtedly been frozen, but it was cooked well and hit the spot. I left satiated, having left an ample tip, for less than $ 15. More stuff: The whole place allows smoking, so, per Indiana law, one must be 21 to enter. Not a family place. I can only imagine the scene here at 1am on a Saturday night. Yikes. The locals were nice and were clearly used to stragglers. I would recommend a stop if it was convenient. Just don’t have wild expectations or act like a weirdo.
