Massage Envy Spa

After 20 years of seeing massage therapists (around the globe I might add), I have found my person! MARVIN. I have had chronic neck and back pain for as long as I can remember. Since I have been going to Marvin at Massage Envy in Roanoke, I no longer need to go to a chiropractor or physical therapist. Marvin has been a ‘God-send’-my saving grace! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I was originally very excited that message envy came to Roanoke and I quickly signed up for a membership. Little did I know that it’s virtually impossible to get an appointment unless you schedule them weeks in advanced. The messages are ok, not bad but not great and I’m locked in for a year so I’ll still go. But their small staff and poor availability will ensure I don’t renew.
If you have infinite free time, this probably isn’t an issue. But if you’re like me and you can’t guarantee that you’ll be free weeks in advance, then message envy probably isn’t for you.

I have always loved massage envy, so I was super excited when they FINALLY came to Roanoke. I have tried a few different locations, and this place by far has the best therapists. The prices are definitely by far the best! Trying to find a massage for less that $ 1 a minute is basically impossible. Planning on getting a massage at least every 2 weeks!

I love that Massage Envy has finally come to Roanoke! If you want a great massage, come here! I just received mine the other evening from a very talented therapist, she was wonderful! I believe her name is Kelly? I definitely recommend her!

This was probably one of the worst massages I have ever had.
The best way to describe my massage was inconsistently sloppy, quick moving and abruptly removing his hands off me.
Anyone who has had a GOOD massage would understand what I’m talking about.
The heated massage table did not work and he left the leg pillow at the end of my feet. never put it under my legs. He also said he was going to stop working on my shoulder blade cause I would be hurting the next day. Im hurting thats why I was getting a massage!!!
After the massage, I was told I needed a 2 hour massage next time .
The girl at the front desk was also trying to sell me a package of some sort.
The only thing nice about my whole experience was the décor of the place. It was very clean and décor was relaxing, but I didn’t feel relaxed after being told I need to purchase this and that.
I do have to say the young gentleman was very sweet, he just needs more training.
I gave it 2 stars for the décor and thats it.
I should have waited and gone to the place Ive been going to for years. This was spur of the moment. you get what you pay for.
I will not return to Massage Envy.
