Not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this place? The staff is super nice and the service is quick and friendly. They have an array of different flavors(~16), and a bunch of fresh fruit toppings and other toppings if you’re more a fan of cookies, candies and/or sprinkles for your froyo. I had the mango raspberry swirl topped with blueberries, blackberries and mangoes, and it was glorious! I was slightly bummed out that they had no cheesecake bits, but you can’t win at everything in life. :o I also got an unexpected 10% off at the register because I was holding my bag of Chipotle(hello, dinner!)! Apparently, if you get food at Chipotle or Firehouse(located on either side of Sweet Frog) and stop in for dessert here, you’ll get 10% off if you show them either the product(aka my bag o’ food!) or a receipt! :] Yay for unintentionally saving some monies!

Not a fan. I stopped in during a not so busy afternoon and did not feel welcome. I made my small cup of yogurt and went to my car to consume it. It didn’t seem fresh in any way at all. It left a very artificial taste in my mouth.

Always clean and great fruit toppings as well as the regular. Only downside is they are not open on Sunday’s.

Went today after lunch for a quick fix. Ice cream and toppings were all great. But the lady at the register didn’t tell us about the same things that she told the other customers about.(10% off options and things you can sign up for)

Maybe ya’ll are used to this DIY flavoured frozen yogurt thing, but it’s new to me. Sweet Frog is a franchise: it’s tacky, it’s silly, but WOW — you can pour your own frozen yogurt from pull-down nozzle thingys, and go crazy with the flavour mixtures. The flavours include things like cake batter, peanut butter cup, cookies & cream, NY cheesecake, green tea. Admittedly, if you get a whole lot of different flavours and mix them together, they all end up tasting the same. Some flavours are non-fat, and others are low fat, meaning they just have bucket-loads of sugar in them. After you’ve filled up your cup with poop-like yogurty squirts, you then have a choice of toppings, which also involving a seriously mind-boggling assortment of things: from gummi bears, to large chunks of brownie, oreos, chocolate freckles, nuts, and so forth. They also have an assortment of sauces to go on top. The possibilities are endless, it kind of hurts my head. Or maybe it’s just the ice cream brain freeze. You pay by weight, and if you go crazy with it, this can really add up, but we got 3 moderate-sized cups for around $ 10.50(oh yeah, there were three of us). I only gave this 3 stars because the place is not actually that nice to hang out in, the flavours aren’t all that strong… and it’s only frozen yogurt, really, hard to get THAT excited about it. PS: The FROG stands for«Fully rely on God.» I’m not making this up. Frozen Yogurt with pro-biotic cultures AND a deity you can fully rely upon. Dang, Buddha’s so flaky, maybe I should change my house of worship.

This gets my vote as the best place for frozen yogurt in Roanoke at the moment. It’s my neighborhood yogurt shop. I like shopping center/strip malls… mainly because they have parking. The yogurt flavors are excellent and the topping choices are quite vast. After I down two burritos from Chipotle, I roll my lard butt over to Sweet Frog for a nightcap of yogurt. That’s how I roll.
