Sleep Inn Tanglewood

We visited a friend that stayed at that place. When I sat down on one of the beds I discovered a bed bug
Disgusting. We immediately left and our friend got a refund. The lady at the front desk said they had a bed bug problem a year ago. The place is filthy dirty, smells like musty smoke everywhere. Stay far away

One word… DUMP! Save your money. You’re better off sleeping in your car… We checked in and immediately CHECKED OUT! The place had the smell of a funky old basement with mold and cigarette smell reeking in the hallways. The rooms look, dates back to the early 70’s. The carpets were stained and the shower resembled a backwood country outhouse. An additional YUCK! I wish i had two more hands so I could give them four thumbs down. :(

Stayed for a month due to our work. The staff day and night, were very nice.
It was nice to have breakfast which was OK great to have coffee & juices. The boiled eggs tasted rubbery. We would joke about them. The breakfast ladies were sweet.
BUT… rooms had ants going into the outlet in my room. I asked twice for the front desk if they had bug spray they have to spray twice finally the exterminator came. Some of our crew had to change rooms.
Black mold in the showers until I asked if they could be cleaned. Really housekeeping??? The filters not changed causing many of our crew to be sick. Key card entry did not work so anyone off the street can walk in after hours. We told the front desk and they said the owner does not want to pay for the replacing of the key card locks. Instead they have put in many cameras in the halls… as 1 of our crew said ‚“So they can see us getting attacked?“
The key card did not work in the gym either. also the gym had spiders in the corner, the water cooler did not work and only the treadmill worked. The bicycle wasn’t plugged in b/​c the cord wasn’t long enough to reach the outlets. No sanitation wipes or spray were available. Also, the key card lock didn’t work either for the gym… it was pretty gross. The spider’s webs complete with spiders in the corners. The Internet pictures of the gym don’t even slightly resemble anything like the pictures I took.
Hotel needs lot of work. Apparently they are remodeling but have not finished. Boy do they need to finish! Hope the owner reads this review. You shouldn’t put your employees in embarrassing situations like that to explain to guests why the key card locks don’t work.
