Can’t say much about this Subway over any other… they have the meats already pre-sliced and cut vegetables in their little covered containers. Pick your bread, meat, cheese, toasted if you want, and then vegetables and spread. These hoagies/subs/zeps/etc. are not what they look like in the commercials. These are not too filling and rather bland. The only thing I’ll give credit for is that they are open after 10PM because it seemed like all my other choices that my family and I really wanted closed up like Cinderella’s coach. What the hell, Roanoke? The two girls running the counter were nice enough but you could tell they did not really want to be there.

This is the best subway I’ve been to. It was very busy, right in the middle of the lunch rush, and for the amount of customers there were, they were very prompt in getting us our food. The food was also the best subway food I’ve ever had.

This location has a buffalo chicken sub. For a while I would stop by here every time I went through roanoke just to pick one up.(What can I say, I’m a fan of anything buffalo chicken flavored) However, my 3rd visit was the last time I will be stopping here. The way this sub is made… there are little paper containers containing chicken. They heat these up in a microwave and throw them onto the sub. This time, they took the 4 tiny containers of chicken out before putting them into the microwave to heat them up, as normal. The person behind the counter smelled one of the containers, made a cringe and threw the container out. I don’t know about you, but after seeing them put the other 3 containers onto the sub without smelling those… or getting a new batch of chicken I wasn’t able to bring myself to eat it, nor will I be going back… despite how good the subs taste. :)
