Hamlin Pub

This bar is a blast on weekends. The live music is great and the atmosphere is lively. It’s never a dull place to stop in and have a drink. The pizza gets a solid 4 out of 5, and the food is definitely above average. I’ll continue to frequent this restaurant.

I have come here more than a couple times and each time it is great!
The food is great pub food that is stick to your ribs and I never leave this place still hungry. It is also a great place for a beer and to the watch the game. Lots of TVs surround the inside of the restaurant, so any place you sit is a good place to watch the game.
The service is always great. You seat yourself but right away a waitress is ready to take your order. Good seating for a couple or even groups.
Good place to kick back and eat some hearty food. The décor is low key and casual, but it does the trick!

Let’s be honest here… it’s really just your local beer joint. Serves its purpose, anything more is a bonus.

Hamlin pub has been our place to go every Tuesday for trivia for the past several months. They have an awesome layout that is great for watching sports and hanging out. Their food menu is standard bar fare, but very good. Their pizza is much better than anything you can get from a local pizza chain. I was also very impressed with their burgers. We’ve gotten to know the staff here quite well now that we are regulars, and have found the service to be outstanding. We love coming here to watch games or just hangout and play trivia on a Tuesday. Definitely the best of the Hamlin pubs.

The beer is cold and plentiful.
The food is great and inexpensive.
The staff is helpful and friendly… perhaps not as well versed on a few things as they could be, but hey, everyone has an off day from time to time.
Plenty of seating around the place or at the bar, and a good place to come for lunch meetings, or after work, or on the weekend when you’re looking to hang a bit, or just because you want to come check out a place that’s halfway decent and worth going to.

Nice beer selection, good food, and a friendly staff. The need to upgrade their TVs HD. But lots of screens.

This place is close to home so thought we would give it a try for dinner. Its a bar in serious need of a facelift. But, the food was very good, reasonably priced and the service was fast and friendly.

This place was halfway decent. Irish pub with TV’s playing the football games all around. We seated ourselves when we got in, and I wasn’t sure what to expect after arriving.
The place could definitely use a facelift, that’s for sure. Plenty of seating with a decent menu. We went with Sliders and were happy with how filling they were. Service was fine, and everything was okay.
The place was kind of dark but we could still see what was going on. I imagine a different crowd comes in later on in the evening, but we were there during dinner hour. Some were eating, like us, others were having a drink at the bar while we all watched the game.
I think aside from a decent facelift inside, this place seems to be the corner bar type. Nothing bad but nothing exciting either. I would come here if I just wanted to grab a drink alone or something, and not be bothered. Maybe grab an appetizer as well.
I don’t know if they have happy hour specials, but they do carry a decent selection of drinks to choose from. If your looking for fancy swag, this may not be your place. Corner bar type really.

Sunday afternoon. 2pm. Place was crowded and waitresses were overwhelmed. Took forever to even get water. Food ended up being kinda quick. Food was decent as usual. Getting water refills was again challenging. Funny thing was our bill was given to us with the food. .guess waitress didn’t want us to order desert…

We stopped in here for a bite to eat — it wasn’t very late and not too crowded. The service was very fast and staff was friendly.
We tried a couple appetizers and they were good.
— The Reuben is a good sandwich.
— The pizza was pretty decent
— We didn’t like the mac n cheese

Great burgers!!! The place could use a facelift — service was fine… They need to move the outdoor smokers lounge from the main entrance. I prefer not to get hit with cig smokers as I walk into the pub… They usually get some good performers on the weekend…

They need to hire more waitresses. Either the waitstaff is overworked or the ones they have are not top notch. Took 15 mins for waitress to approach us. Used a $ 20 gift certificate on a $ 10 order. Was told I get nothing back to use at another visit. Needless to say there will not be another visit…

Had an event in Rochester so I thought I would drop in on a Sunday night at 5:00 pm. It took 15 minutes to get drinks and another 10 to order. We left 35 minutes later when we still didn’t have our food. Our waitress disappeared. My husband went to check and he couldn’t find our waitress and another waitress said she would check on it and never came back. Horrible service.

I like this location better than the Troy one. Better TV viewing angles with many large screens. Friendly service, great specials, and a fun atmosphere/​crowd.

Good food and good service! We were a large group (most of my derby team) and the servers were very helpful pulling together tables for us. Our server kept her cool and was amazing at keeping all the orders straight and correct. The food was good and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We are usually not in the Rochester area, but I’m sure we will stop there again when we are.

Came here for dinner tonight, the food was really good, they staff was very nice! I really enjoyed my time and I’ll be back again!

Just stopped in for Lunch on a Monday for their Burger deal. Ended up spending a little more then I wanted too but really enjoyed the burger and fries. Wish the waitress was a little more quick with the refills, but overall I was happy with our lunch. Will definitely go back for lunch soon.

A great place to see a game (many, many TVs), or simply belly up to enjoy a cold beer and a great burger. The pizza however filled me only with regret. Overly cheesed, light on the toppings that matter, just really uninspired. Even my son who is 11 and eats nothing but pizza wasn’t a fan. Stick with the burgers and beer, and you’ll be elated.

Kind of annoying to wait for the only waitress to sing karaōke while we wait for drinks, especially while we want to sing karaōke. Wish they had a good bartender like coyote joes does. Not impressed. Wish it was still Mr bs

A large group of soccer players and parents dropped in on the Hamlin Pub this past Sunday, shortly before noon. Wait staff and manager/​owner (?) enthusiastically helped shove together tables, take drink orders, and made us feel right at home. They didn’t even mind that the kids decided to all sit together at one long table. Service was fantastic through our lunch.
Pizza for the kids was wisely brought out first, followed swiftly by food for the parents at three separate tables. The pizza was great. Gooey cheese with lots of pepperoni sprinkled about.
Adults ordered a variety of sandwiches including the Monte Cristo, burgers, pork sliders, and an L.A. Fajita wrap. A couple of us ordered the Saturday/​Sunday special of fried perch. This fish was lightly breaded and fried to perfection. Slightly greasy, and not at all fishy. It comes with fries and slaw, and I’d recommend asking for sweet potato fries, which were excellent.
I’ll happily return.
