2 Ton Tony’s Pizza

This is a very good pizza place! Great, fresh and tasty pizza with plenty of cheese (hmmm…my fav). The staff are very nice. It has a small ‘Mom & Pop shop’ feel which is good for a pizza place! The owner was very nice and personable. They also have very good wings!!! Much better than Murphs down the street in my opinion! I highly recommend giving this place a try.

The best pizza i ate in Rochester. Thin, lot of cheese and delicious :) Also they have new chicken wings sauces. Mixed sauces are very good.

Oh. My. Word. I Love their lunch specials. The slice is huge and so delicious! Absolutely worth it!

We ordered food and ate there. It was ok but we’ve had better for less money. Don’t see any reason to go back to be honest. The employees were quite loud and distracting as we tried to eat. Even 1 of my kids commented on it. It was over $ 50 for 2 pizzas, drinks and a few sides. Didn’t get a friendly feel like some other reviewers mentioned unfortunately.

Arrived in town yesterday! Looking for some NY pizza! This is a hole in the wall place with tasty, flavorful pepperoni pie! Slices are huge! One is enough and satisfying unless you want to weigh two tons!

Best pizza in irondequoit. Previous reviews about amount of cheese on pizza and dry wings are accurate to an extent. I always try to order my wings with the note «extra saucy» and if the people working always delivered on that I would be ecstatic, but sometimes they ignore me. It’s too bad, because the sauce is delicious and makes them into excellent wings. Pizza sauce is well spiced and cheese just enough to cover– it might be a little ‘juicy hot out of the oven, but the pizza makes superior leftovers. they are always fast, owner is always super nice.
I’ll turn this review to five stars the day i can order extra wing sauce on grubhub or that «extra saucy» is always honored.

I can’t even express how amazing this place is. The food is to die for, the people are amazing, and the owner well he is out of this world. They really know how to make you feel at home and feel a part of the 2 ton tony family. This is a place you HAVE to go to if you love pizza because they make everything from scratch! Absolutely amazing! What are you doing reading this go there right now!!!

The best takeout in Rochester! Amazing pizza with so many topping combinations. Try the fish fry or even their wings! Huge menu! Tony runs a great business.

Not wanting the usual chain delivery, I searched independent pizzerias and found most large pizzas starting at $ 20 plus $ 1.50−2 each per topping. Yikes. The chains had spoiled me. But I wanted quality and 2 Ton Tony’s has a $ 4 off coupon if you sign up for Mobile VIP.
So I ordered the Meat Haters. It was thick but not atrociously so. Not tough; you could eat the crust. The topping were fresh and while I was at first put off by how raw the veggies seemed, they were cooked just enough to take the edge off while keeping their fresh flavor.
I didn’t get my receipt upon delivery, so I am docking them one star because I like to have my receipt.

We ordered from here for the second time and we are convinced we are now loyal pizza customers! Again, the quality of pizza is so much better than any other pizza place in Rochester! Lots of toppings and cheaper than the competition… Tony even remembered me after nit being there for a few weeks… can’t wait to go back! If you haven’t made the drive to try it out, it’s a must and I promise, you will be hooked!,

Too often nowadays with many restaurants, customer service and community involvement is neglected in favor of profit. Tony’s not only provided excellent customer service but was eager to donate to our community project pertaining to homelessness. They were willing to go the extra mile to have a positive impact on the local neighborhood, and that made all the difference. It goes without saying of course, but the donated pizza itself was delicious and made for some pretty happy folks, who would otherwise have gone without.
Thanks especially to Kathy for helping to make our project a success through flexibility and generosity.

Huge slices and delicious! I would always make sure to grab a slice for lunch when I would fill in at our spencerport property. 2 ton Tony’s probably offers the biggest slices around Rochester. I love that they do not lack in toppings and when I say topping I generally mean cheese and sauce. Nothing is worse than a dry crusty pizza. A must try for sure.

There is no reason to order pizza from anywhere in Irondequoit besides 2 Ton Tony’s. The perfect proportions of sauce that’s just the right amount of sweet and just the right salty, perfect cheese, and a healthy dose of toppings make for a mouth party you don’t want to miss. They bring a credit card reader right to the door so you don’t have to sit and read off the number over the phone. And Tony offers his personal cell number on the website so he can guarantee your satisfaction. Just eat it. For real.

Passable pizza. It was okay/​good, not great. Crust had no body to it, it just kinda fell apart in your mouth. Sauce had good flavor, and pizza was on the thinner side (compared to the thicker WNY style of pizza).

Normally people purchase groupons/​living socials, etc, to try a new business. I had an expired voucher that says it’s valid for the amount purchased until 2018. When I called to make sure they would honor it, before placing my order, I was told it expired too long ago. And that «tony» was too busy to talk to me. I got a refund for the $ spent and I will never spend any $ or time on trying that place. No wonder the other location isn’t still in business.

YUMMMM. This place does one of my ultimate favorite things… slicing a large pizza into squares! It’s the little things in life :). We ordered a large with 10 country sweet wings for a quick dinner tonight. Cup n char pepperoni — phenomenal. Extra cheese — yes please! Pizza arrived at our door quick and everything was piping hot! Pizza is just the way I like it (not too saucy!) and not completely greasy. The wings were crispy and saucy (which is good for wings) and all 10 were devoured by our guests (mom in law & aunt). I think 2 Ton might be my go to delivery pizza place! No complaints from this full, satisfied customer!

We order from 2 Ton Tony’s a lot at work when we need food catered that is quick and fairly inexpensive because the hospital has a direct billing thing that is worked out with them — yay for side stepping the whole reimbursement process at work! Plus, who doesn’t love pizza?
I usually stick to their sheet pizzas when I order from here — the pepperoni, cheese, and «meat haters» (a mix of onions, peppers, mushrooms and olives) have consistently been delicious. I do agree that Tony’s is a little light of the cheese, but I actually I prefer my pizza with minimal cheese… yeah, I’m one of those weirdos.
I’ve also ordered their garden salad that comes with cucumbers, tomatoes, olives and chickpeas with assorted dressings and they have several different flavors of chicken wings. The barbecue ones are my personal favorite. They also have a pretty good sized catering menu, which I look forward to trying out.
The owner Tony is a super nice guy and will do everything he can make sure you are pleased with your order. I’ve called on a super short notice before and he’s been willing to work with me to make sure I have what I need. Their delivery has always been on time.
Try them out — Although I’ve only used them for group orders, I’m sure they are awesome at regular orders, too. :-)

If you’ve been around a while and remember Proietti’s on Goodman Street back in the day, well this place is using the same family recipes.
They have three types of pepperoni, regular, beef and cup-​n-​char.
Now that’s my kind of place I wish more places would offer choices and pepperoni, our favorite is cup-​n-​char.

Great place for a slice, a HUGE slice. It covered three paper plates. They have a wide variety of wing sauces to dip in.

This pizza came highly recommended and I have to say after trying it twice we were really disappointed both times.
Ordered just with extra cheese. Both times there was almost no cheese on it, and a ton of sauce.
We also had the wings (mild and garlic Parmesan). Both were dry and lacking flavor.
Won’t be going back.
