Last year in May, when we moved to Rochester, we went to ATT to set up our mobile phone plan. The«manager» told us if we buy something more than $ 90 in store, he will waive the activation fee $ 90 for two lines. We were happy and bought a headphone for $ 96. But we received the bill statement later and the $ 90 activation fee was not waived. So we went to argue with the«manager» for three months, every time he said it will deducted from the next statement, but it never happen. It is really tired to argue. We can’t trust ATT anymore. We will switch to Verizon next year.

I have had to go here twice in the last few months. Even though the salesperson was not nearly as annoying as others, she kept pushing their $ 40 cases(which you can find for half the price on Amazon/eBay) and their data packages for tablets. Seriously, dude, I am just going to buy the case online and use the mobile hotspot that comes included with my plan. Also, if you are NEW to AT&T and are giving them a trial run, no matter what they offer you in exchange for your old phone, don’t do it. I wasn’t hot on how AT&T was performing in my apt so I wanted to switch to T Mobile temporarily until Verizon had the phone I wanted but the salespeople at AT&T claimed there was no way I could get my old phone back — even if I brought in the speakers I traded them for. They couldn’t tell me where my old phone even was — it had been 1 week! This left a bad taste in my mouth as I was literally trapped with AT&T unless I wanted to go without a phone for 3 weeks. It made me miss T Mobile’s always friendly customer service. Just hold on to your old phone till you are sure you are going to stick with AT&T(you have 2 weeks to change your mind — restocking fee may apply).
