Not terribly impressed, we ordered the eggplant parmesan sub, the amount of eggplant was woeful, perhaps two thin slices, not much cheese or sauce either, thoroughly disapointing… Especially when it was eaten with their Brooklyn Brawler with corned beef, pastrami, swiss n Russian dressing. This sandwich was packed with tender meat and cheese. What the hay? A couple came in for trays of hot take out, they spoke highly of that side of the business.

Their sandwiches are absolutely phenomenal! I’ve never had a sandwich there that I didn’t love. Best place in Roc to get a good sub.

Don’t be speeding down Penfield Road you might just miss this sweet spot.
It showcases fantastic subs and the staff are very helpful. They make sandwiches ready to order with many different choices to choose from. The bread is absolutely delicious.
And as always a must… a half Moon cookie. Have chocolate icing /half white icing layered on a very moist chocolate cake-like cookie.
Every time I go to Rochester, Bernunzio’s is on my list of places to go.

I really like the changes they’ve made to this deli over the past few years. They’ve done a great job carving out a niche in the crowded sub sandwich market. In addition to the standard sub combinations, you can also order one of their specialty subs which are listed on their chalkboard. Very tasty, they can be tweaked to your heart’s content. They also carry an array of baked goods that are either made on site or brought in from Leo’s bakery. You can also pick up other locally sourced goods there as well as the usual sodas, ice teas & bottled beverages.
There are a few small tables inside the deli and, if the weather permits, picnic tables outside. All in all, a great little deli!
