Finally a bakery that does something original. Beyond the regular white and whole wheat there are a variety of flavors that rotate every week. There are free samples of most of the breads that you can taste before making your decision.(Be warned it will be difficult to pick only one loaf) Try the Cheesy Potato bread for a real treat. It makes a great grilled cheese.

Great, fresh, from-scratch bread with an excellent selection! I especially love the Dakota bread, Cheesy Potato and Chives, Apple Cinnamon Swirl, and all their quickbreads. Their homemade granola, muffins, and whole wheat cinnamon rolls are also excellent. These are the carbs I still dream about after moving away… They have good sandwiches, too, as well as a fantastic selection of gluten-free breads and treats. I know they used to make gluten free pizza crusts for a pizza place next door, don’t know if that still happens… I know celiacs were jumping for joy at the prospect of real pizza. Only downside is that prices have been creeping up in recent years and stupid chain that moved to town is probably making that worse(I’m looking at you, Great Harvest). I still think it’s worth it for literally the best bread in town.

They make a variety of gluten-free bread and cookies every Saturday, usually available after 3 pm or you can make a pre-order on what you like ahead of time. I wish their chocolate chip cookies had more chocolate chips in them and were less crumbly. Their gluten-free bread loafs are super hearty and wish they would come in half-loaves!
