Fantastic scuba/​snorkel shop in Rochester. My husband and I took our initial scuba certification classes here and have taken other classes since — the staff is kind, experienced, patient, and thorough! When we went out of state for our open water checkout dives we were complimented on how well prepared we were — at the time we didn’t have anything to compare it to, but now having taken various classes a few places in the country I would agree — MDC was more thorough than anyone else we’ve trained with. :)
When I had trouble with some of my basic skills in the initial classes, the staff encouraged us to spend extra time and let us use the equipment, pool, and guidance for no extra fee to be sure I was comfortable. They’ve earned our patronage and we’re doing further training with them now. They’ve had great recommendations for gear and are very experienced with different types of diving.
