1st time customers, awful experience… Ordered loaded fries, 2 liter of Sierra Mist, and a Philly Cheese Steak Calzone. The only thing edible was the Sierra Mist. The loaded fries were a gelatinous glob. Tried to take fries from the box but they were completely stuck together in a giant cold brick or potato. The Philly Cheese Steak calzone,(which is advertized as Steak, Peppers, Onions, Mushroom & Mozerella) came with only tough, jerky like ‘steak’ and cheese. No peppers onions or shrooms to be found. Very disappointed. We just moved into the area and were hoping for a good calzone place. But after this experience we will probably not be ordering from here again.

Have gotten deliveries here a couple of times. I never post Unilocal reviews unless it’s either really good or really bad… this time, bad. Every time I order from here, the delivery drivers are rude, somewhat callous, and not timely. I paid an extra $ 2 to «pound» my calzone– meaning more good stuff on the inside, and my boyfriend got a regular calzone. Compared to the non pounded calzone– they were EXACTLY the same. So I basically wasted money on a supposedly better product. So on top of that, having a rude delivery driver was just too much. Not ordering from here again. I suggest you do the same. And I will be telling people that this place is garbage.

I came across Calio’s on EatStreet and thought I’d give them a try. The experience was horrible. I get a call after I place the order that they are going to charge me more for a delivery fee because I’m SO far away(within 5 miles). I said no, when you set your delivery range and fee on that website, it included my address and I’m NOT paying more than your posted fee. Then I get a call from the driver right around when my food should have been arriving, telling me that he’s going to be late because I’m SO far away and he didn’t even think they delivered this far and on and on. Not my problem, buddy. Why am I hearing this? When he arrived, he had a horrible attitude. I told him: You work for an employer that has set a delivery range of 5 miles. If you have a problem delivering up to 5 miles away, take it up with your employer, never with me, the customer. I’m not being difficult, I just live 4.71 miles from a restaurant whose food falls short of convenience store quality. I start eating my food and there’s about as much filling in each calzone as you’d find in a Hot Pocket, and the ingredients aren’t of any better quality. Powdered mashed potatoes, imitation bacon bits, one piece of grilled chicken, and ketchup was all that was inside. If you’re considering Calio’s, have Hot Pockets instead. You’ll get better tasting food and more of it! You also won’t have to deal with employees with bad attitudes.

Another ‘only when your drunk’ food spot. We ordered from here to my friend’s apartment in Rochester. It’s frequented by many college students and locals(where the bulk of their money comes from). They had many options, and I wanted a pepperoni calzone, but ended up getting an Italy one. My 3 friends ordered Garbage, which is Mac and cheese, ground beef, and potatoes, apparently pretty popular around here. It took approximately 45 minutes to arrive, like they said. The total was $ 37, around $ 8 per person. Not bad but for 4am delivery no complaints. The calzone itself was alright, mediocre at best. Would try again if I was really drunk.

Good hours and ok calzones. This place could be a gold mine but it just seems to be lacking. Most people don’t even know it exists with it being tucked away in an open Plaza and the name/sign not really giving you a good idea of what the place is. I just happened to stumble across it and went in for a bite. They have a very large selection of choices and even some delicious dessert calzones. I had the cheesecake calzone. Taste was there but it was almost too sweet and very messy. The basic calzones are stuffed pretty well and the ingredients are decent.

They have a huge selection of great calzones. WHile the prices are a little high for the amount you get its still reasonable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They deliver quickly and with great service. However, their delivery website is broken which annoys me. Instead of using the website you have to call. I’d recommend the mac n cheese calzone with marinara.

The food here is mediocre. I would recommend any other place if you really want a good calzone. The only thing it’s good for is late night delivery. I have been disappointed many times with them but what really grinds my gears was my most recent experience. I ordered a meatless calzone because I’m a vegetarian but when I bit into the calzone there was ground beef… and under cooked. I called and politely asked for a new one to be delivered. But the guy talking to me demanded proof very rudely. I would have brought it in to him and thrown it at his face if I wasn’t working but SERIOUSLYWHATRESPECTABLEBUSINESSDOESTHAT. Not only did they get the order wrong but the meat was undercooked. And this guy was a flat out jerk. They refuse to reconcile for their faults and have not a care in the world for customer satisfaction. My friends and I are now boycotting. :)
