Carroll’s Corn

This past month, I’ve been spending a lot of time at Mayo Methodist Hospital due to a family member being ill. Everyday, multiple times a day, I see countless people walking around with bags of popcorn. I finally decided to make my way to Carroll’s Corn and let me tell you, this was one of the best foodie decisions I’ve made while I’ve been in Rochester.
I asked for a sample of the triple mix (chicago mix) and I gulped down that sample like I was doing shots on my 21^st birthday! This popcorn isn’t just good, it’s amazing on top of a heaping pile of epic goodness. The popcorn is flavorful, perfectly popped and you can definitely taste the freshness compared to buying a bag at a sporting event or at a super market. When I shared the bag with members of my family, they politely started with one piece of popcorn, followed by an overflowing handful that was gobbled up in seconds. Carroll’s Corn is awesome! I like to mix the warm caramel and freshly made cheese together — It is also a great client appreciation gift, they do special packaging and advance orders. Yum — Yum!

Carroll’s Corn is located in the subway level of the Kahler hotel. They have all kinds of snack foods, drinks but the real treat is their homemade popcorn. The most popular is their Chicago mix (butter, cheese, and caramel corn). My personal favorite is their caramel cashew corn. Yes people, caramel corn with cashews in it!!!
