Checked out Checker Flag pizza after getting a coupon from
. Ordered a large pizza and 10 wings. When I called (took about a minute for them to answer), I was told 20 minutes. When I arrived 25 minutes later, they hadn’t even put the pizza in the oven yet! They did not have a cash register, they were calculating the cost by calculator and even that was a challenge for them. The 3 staff members workers were all nice, no doubt about that, although one of them was swearing while trying to calculate my cost (which I don’t care about but customer service 101 — don’t swear in front of a customer!). The food ended up being decent but I was highly disappointed.

A slice of cheese pizza for a buck? I was skeptical… and very glad to be wrong! These slice are HUGE and tasty! Wings looked great, I just didn’t have time to eat them. I got 2 slices and a 20oz pop for $ 3.50, that’s just awesome! Service was quick and friendly. I’ll go back next time I’m at Aquinas for a game.
