Came in for a watch battery replacement. Woman glanced at my watch and literally wouldn’t give me the time of day. Said they don’t service that kind of watch, offered no help to find someplace that does. Wasn’t the kind of customer service that would make me want to go back.

I went in to have a repair done, and was very impressed with the speed and quality of the work. Janice was very friendly and showed me around the location. I will be sure to return for all things jewelry!

My husband bought my engagement ring here and we also bought our wedding bands from Cornell. I’ve gone on to purchase diamond stud earrings and a Michele watch for myself and a Longines watch for my husband at Cornell. I love the quality of everything we’ve purchased and think the customer service is superb. I work with Jennifer Bleecker as my sales representative. I also think Morgan is great, who often helps me when I stop in to have my jewelry checked and cleaned. Making a jewelry purchase is a big commitment as you’ll have a lifelong relationship with the store. I stop in once a month to have my jewelry checked and clean and love going to Cornell as they have a convenient location, the store is beautiful, and they offer great refreshments while you wait.

My(now) fiancé and I purchased my engagement ring and wedding bands at Cornell’s. Liz was amazing to work with and she took her time with us(through the extensive selection) so we could find our perfect diamond ring and wedding bands. We looked elsewhere for an engagement ring, but were impressed with the style, selection and price! Liz always makes it an enjoyable experience, too!

My fiancé and I have had nothing but the best experience shopping for our engagement and wedding rings at Cornell’s Jewelers. We had the pleasure of working with Morgan throughout the whole process and were blown away by her knowledge, professionalism and hospitality. She made buying our rings so easy and we know we got great deals on amazing products. I have recommended Cornell’s to all of my family/friends and would’t recommend going anywhere else in Rochester.

I’ve had very good luck with Cornell’s and think they’re a first class jewelry store. I bought my wifes Tacori engagement ring there and she bought my Diana wedding band there. I especially liked the woman that helped us with my ring but can’t recall her name now. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase a watch from Cornell’s. Top notch service and they carry all the best.

Cornell’s has been around a long time, and their experience shows. They’re at the top echelon of jewelry stores in Rochester, period. Both classy and friendly, I’ve never detected a hint of snobbery from anyone. It doesn’t matter what you’re wearing or where you’re from; you’ll feel welcome at Cornell’s. They’ve even got a playroom for kids to hang out while you talk business with a sales associate. While the interior is bright and sparkly and clearly expensive, nothing here feels pretentious. But the jewelry is stunning. There might not be an ugly item in the entire store. The sales associates take the time to understand your needs and somehow always come out with just the right piece. It’s nothing like one of those mall jewelry stores where they thrive on volume. Even first-time jewelry buyers can be comfortable going to Cornell’s… and most of those first-timers become repeat customers because of that great first experience.

Came in for battery change this afternoon. No appointment, no problem. Jen did it on the spot and I walked out 15 minutes later. Nice!

I went to Cornell’s yesterday with a friend who is planning on proposing to his girlfriend and just wanted to have moral support/a girl to help him on his hunt. I’ve never been to a place as nice as Cornell’s. The store is beautiful and very well maintained(as is expected, but there is such a big difference between this place and chain jewelry stores). The service is great. There is no pressure and the sales people are welcoming and very knowledgable. My friend explained what he needed and the salesman(I can’t remember his first name, but his last name is Van Dusen. Don’t ask me how I remember that and not his last name, because I have no idea). He was great. He helped my friend pick out a bunch of things that matched his criteria, and was very patient with all of the questions we threw at him. He even offered to help work out the pricing for the rings in different alloys and to find a diamond to fit into his budget, as well as working out financing. We even met the owner’s son, who was really friendly, down-to-earth, and accomodating(he even got me a bottle of water). Additionally, there are other complimentary beverages other than water, and sweets. The only complaint I have(which isn’t really their fault) is that I think the lighting or something gave me a headache after a while. Or maybe I just got a headache at random. Cornell’s is located slightly west of and across the street from the Pittsford Plaza. There is plenty of parking. Even though I wasn’t shopping for myself, I really recommend Cornell’s. I think lots of people would be pleasantly surprised if they stopped by.
