Multigrain chicken cheesesteak sub with unsweetened iced tea; also a solitary meatball($ 0.50?) for my 1-year old granddaughter and she ate all of it. Good service, tasty bread… not fancy but reasonably priced lunch. Little shopping center on East Ridge in Irondequoit near Goodman.

I love this location — it’s close to the hospital(within walking distance during nice weather!). Unfortunately, this section of city/Irondequoit suffers from a lack of culinary delights suited for the lunchtime crowd, but DiBella’s is a great standby for a quick and delicious meal; I’ve never been disappointed. During peak hours this place can get pretty busy, but I’ve never had to wait longer than five minutes to be served. The staff at this location are efficient, prompt, and very personable; especially the manager. He’s regularly working the line, and is so friendly. My favorites are the cowboy(sans cheese), but when I’m trying to be a little healthier(ahem, it’s still a sub sandwich), you can’t go wrong with their turkey on wheat! Throw some sweet peppers, pickles, tomatoes and lettuce, and I’m a happy girl. They also have the standard sides such as chips, pickles, and a variety of cold salads. I can never seem to resist a cookie(they are my favorite!!) even though the small sub is more than filling. I do agree that the tables could be cleaned a little more frequently, but I always try and brush my crumbs off the table before I leave. I understand that during the lunch rush, the priority is sandwich making, not table cleaning. All in all, this is a great location!

This is a Rochester old time favorite. Subs are awesome here and the bread is baked there. The cookies are always always the best desert. I love the Godfather sub. The grill is nice for steak subs etc. The only thing I don’t like is the grilled chicken. I wish they had breaded chicken for subs.

This location on E. Ridge Road never seems to be busy — which is a plus for me because I hate being surrounded by lots of people. The young guys in there are usually pleasant and quick to make the subs. I love the bread, but was a bit disappointed this last time when they were out of sesame seed rolls. I opted for multi-grain instead, but I really do love a sub with sesame bread. My biggest complaint is that there were too many crumbs on many of the booths. I get it — when there are few customers actually eating in the restaurant they are less likely to go around and wipe down the seats.

Its a Rochester classic. They use by far the best sub roll I’ve ever had to make one of the best sub’s I’ve ever tasted. Definitely recommend you get your sub grilled and be sure to get a combo with one of their delicious chocolate chip cookies. The sub’s are sooo good that Wegmans signed an exclusive deal with them to use their sub rolls in Wegman’s sub shops — a hallmark of their excellence.

Probably some of the world’s most delicious subs and cookies that are to die for! You can get pretty much any type of sub you desire served cold or hot. The have all the classic toppings and condiments you’d expect from a vintage sub shop. It has awesome décor, kind of 50’s inspired. It’s very clean with plenty of places to sit and be comfortable while you enjoy your scrumptious sub and extraordinarily delicious cookie!
