GWEILO to the max !!! Terrible from the food to the service. Chinamerican food at it’s worse. The dishes all share the same components: A protein, «the garden of vegetables» and the same sickening sweet five-pice star anise flavored brown sauce. Wanted to like it in an effort to avoid driving to Henrietta for a reasonable take-out. Not happening here.

Terrible — plain and simple. Thought we’d try and support local business. Kung Pao Shrimp — smaller than ‘normal’ shrimp — NOFLAVOR. Frozen veggies in the Garlic Shrimp, ordered a Qt, with 5 of the normally larger shrimp I usually get in Kung Pao, but it was SOSWEET like she dumped a cup of sugar in it. Completely inedible. Veggie Pot Stickers(steamed dumplings) — terrible. Granted, I lived in San Francisco for a long time and had the very best — there and in London, England. This is ridiculous. My hands are starting to swell from the MSG already. AND it’s significantly more expensive than other places in Town. Sorry folks, but this is my honest review. Oh, and the veggie spring rolls were laden in oil. $ 40.00 worth of food in the garbage.

This place use to be called KJ’s chinese, which i use to love in its old location. It now has different owners now and located in the same area. The last owner sold it to another family member(i believe) and everything is the same. same menu, same prices, same chef. the new location is in the I-Square market set back off of Titus. They still don’t deliver, so i think thats the only thing i would change of the place. they have take out and sit down if you decide to stay in the«food court» like setting with the other restaurants that are there. the portions do seem a tad bit smaller when dining in rather than take out, but thats ok. i still had left overs. probably best to not eat all the chinese in one sitting anyway. i recommend the sesame chicken and lo mein, but then again everything is good.
