There is something blissfully satisfying when you find really delicious ice cream. Even more so when it’s local and convenient to your house. I-Scream is my go-to ice cream spot because it’s conveniently located and it’s really lovely to go there. In the summertime(or during nice days) you can go to the rooftop and sit up there and overlook the plaza or just wander around the square. In the wintertime, there is plenty of indoor seating and it’s fun to just go and potentially run into people in your community. The ice cream is rich and flavorful. The different flavored are great because they’re unique to I-Square(at the very least, I haven’t seen them anywhere else) and the girls working there are always friendly and efficient. I will never not go there.

I was sad to see brusters ice cream in Irondequoit go. With that said I was hoping that iscream would have some fun and inventive flavors that are more original than cold stone or Abbotts. I was not disappointed! There were many different flavors to try from and the girl working was very patient with me as I taste tested numerous flavors. The icecream is smooth and creamy! I ordered a small and was happy with the amount of ice cream I was given for the price! Very filling! Along with normal icecream there are very unique soft serve flavors that you can twist with vanilla such as butterscotch, cotton candy, apple, and an array of other fruity flavors. I will be back to try something new next time! Also the place is cute with lots of searing as it is located around 4 – 5 other restaurants. I sat in comfy cushioned sofa chairs in the corner and enjoyed my icecream.

Loved it here … The whole marketplace is great … I will be making this a frequent stop on the weekends. It is great for the community. I did not have the ice cream … My son and niece did and loved it ! We will definitely be back !

Not bad, but not amazing. Id put it above dairy queen in quality of the product. I got the boomberry shake, my aunt the coffee shake(which was recommended as the best flavor by our server) both were good. If I’m in the area i might stop in to try something new but it’s not going to replace abbots

Delicious. It could be said I am just letting my sweet tooth talk, but seriously this is some fantastic frozen dairy dessert. The base is so smooth and rich, there’s no mistaking a fresh scoop for anything from your freezer. Their website says the hard stuff comes from Ithaca, which I initially questioned because why not use a more local source but I can only assume there was a lengthy taste testing process to find the right supplier. Seriously. It’s so creamy! The flavors are equally spectacular, with the perfect dispersal of added bits such as cookie dough or chocolate chips or whatever crust-like substance is in the seasonal pumpkin. You will not be disappointed, whatever your expectations might be. Unless you don’t like ice cream(what are you doing coming to a place called I-Scream??). The location also pulls ahead of typical ice cream shops, thanks to being part of a food court concept of The Market at I-Square. A concept I completely hate on all aspects except for the ice cream counter. Where many shops are small thus cramped with little seating, here tables and chairs are plentiful. Service is with a smile and so far quick but we haven’t hit them at a busy time, now have we ordered anything but scoops(and soft serve when they first opened). There is also an outside window and I didn’t take special notice but I imagine it’s not in operation during the cold months but it’ll be nice during the summer. I guess. I don’t see any real advantage to an exterior order window, but maybe for kids on bikes? It’s kitschy cute, if anything. The only thing that really bothered me, and it REALLY bothered me, was the menu. It’s easier enough to read but is on a large screen that switches between the full menu and a special menu for sundaes only. There’s not much to either menu, so why the need for two pages??? It’s so annoying. To keep you from such frustration — kiddie scoops are $ 2, small is $ 3, and large is $ 4. Maybe. Double check the large. Toppings are $.50 each, and sundaes are $ 4. Or $ 4.50…I’m about as helpful as the ever switching screen. Regardless, it’s cheaper than the popular local choice of only by a small amount and tastier, too. Not that I’d say no to frozen custard, but I’ll definitely be lobbying for I-Scream from now on.

New ice cream place that’s been open for about a month now. It’s in irondequoits new development I-square. Pretty good ice cream, the unique thing about it is the flavor bursts. They have different flavors swirled into the vanilla. I got to try the maple flavor and it tastes like maple syrup. I got blue raspberry and my bf got grape. Basically I think it’s food coloring? But it tastes good. They also have the regular ice cream orders of chocolate vanilla swirl, just vanilla or just chocolate and sundaes. And of course sprinkles. The only thing I would suggest is to make the outside ordering window area more presentable. They r new so it most likely will happen. I assumed there would have been an inside station, but that’s okay.
