Delicious food, nice light yet flavorful sauces. Pleasant and prompt service. I ordered the Chicken Mango and a Thai crry to go. My daughter lover her Chicken mango. I found the Thai curry to be light and tasty! My new favorite asian restaurant when I visit Rochester.

I was not feeling well so decided to order delivery using the Unilocal Start New Order button. I was not expecting much in the way of this place but it has a solid 4 stars so decided to give it try. I ordered the Chinese fried rice and Vietnamese grilled pork. WOW! The fried rice was a house special selection that came with meat, chicken and shrimp. It was very tasty; the rice was not dry nor was the dish oily. The grilled pork came with lettuce, noodles, bean sprouts, and cucumbers with a tasty sauce to pour into it. I was definitely surprised at how well these dishes were made. The food arrived within 45 minutes and the EAT24 website link gives you more than enough information to know that order did not end up in a black hole ticket holder. Good food, great price, fast delivery service, and easy online ordering with Unilocal.Nice.

We’ve been looking for a place that had real Pan Fried Noodles for a while, and I finally found it. The food was great. We ended up getting Phat Thai, Pan Friend Noodles, Scallion pancakes(which I can’t recommend enough) and Crab Rangoons(which I also can’t recommend enough). We ended up getting delivery and it was incredibly fast. Next time we might actually go there because it tasted amazing.

Excellent food. I have lots of favorites but you will like anything you order here. I’ve known the chef for over 20 years and follow him wherever he goes. Not a lot of atmosphere but you can’t eat atmosphere.

Delicious phở and great noodles. Not fancy but Karen has been in the restaurant business a number of years and she always makes you feel right at home. When my youngest daughter comes back to the ROC she always wants to go here and it works every time!

Food was good and came quick. Salt and pepper calamari, panang Kai, tom yum soup, lemon grass chicken. I will go back.

I’ve been coming here for years. Karen, the owner, is a great host and has my favorite bowl of Phở in rochester… I’ve had them all. It’s a personal favorite because it’s not like all the other traditional broth, there’s a hint of cinnamon that really separates it from the rest. Also try the calamari and crab rangoon here. Another must is the shredded crispy chicken.

Good food and poor ambience . If you need and no nonsense simple Chinese food which does empty your pockets, this is the place you are looking I kind of like the fact that it also has some Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Try the mango spring rolls.

Ordered online and they didn’t even realize it. Called after an hour and they advised me that they were not aware and would have my food delivered quickly. Received the food and the order was incorrect. The food was disgusting. The duck was waaayyy over cooked and mostly bone. One piece was just a chunk of the spine with no meat on it at all. The other dish wasn’t what I ordered, not sure what it was but was willing to try it anyways(by the time we realized the order was wrong they were closed), it was disgusting as well. I was truly disappointed by my experience and would not recommend this place to anyone. Eat at your own risk. I am going to stick with Flavors of Asia from now on.

Recently finished my meal and it was terrible, completely tasteless and I tried three different dishes; sesame chicken, chicken and broc, and sweet and sour chicken. All were awful. Plus, what delivery driver in today’s world does not have a GPS? Literally 15 minutes spent on the phone leading the delivery lady to my place. I would not order from here ever again.

Excellent fresh and delicious Asian cuisine. My family enjoys the curry tofu, Thai basil and orange beef.

New Ming is the place where I pick my Chinese Dinner before I get home. You know those days, when you’re busy or tired and can’t be bothered to make dinner, and just want to eat some food and crash, or run out to do more things. New Ming is my stop for those days. I like their dumplings, especially their curry dumplings, and I like their Pi Par tofu with shrimp(thanks to Naz for that recommendation). but sometimes you just want fried rice, and New Ming has one of my favorites around. Their House Special Vietnamese Fried Rice, fits the bill for me! With Chinese sausage, and veggies and not that weird orange color, it feels healthier than other fried rice(although it’s not). My friends have enjoyed their more usual Chinese take out dishes, like the General Tso’s chicken, but I honestly prefer some stir fry and veggies, and maybe some fried rice myself.

Got food delivered today, excellent, fresh and different, when I say different I mean not greasy, fresh and very yummy:) Very pleased at the food and it was delivered in 30 minutes from placing my order online! The mango spring rolls are fresh not really my thing, but I love the Japanese noodles with shrimp and the pineapple friend rice was great. Will def be ordering again:)

My favorite in Rochester. I’m a regular customer there. They have the best Vietnamese menu in the city. Their Phở is my favorite and so are their other Vietnamese dishes. They have Chinese and Thai dishes on their menu, too but I’d recommend their Vietnamese dishes. That’s their specialty.

Mom and I discovered New Ming’s after an appointment at a spa on Park. One of the girls at the checkout had ordered takeout from them and it was fresh and delicious-looking. We were starving and went straight over. We were surprised by the location at first, but the staff were nice and welcoming. We shared the papaya salad, which we loved. Then I had the phở and really enjoyed it. Great flavors and easily understood choices for meats on the menu. It definitely compares to SEA, although SEA may be better… Need to do a head-to-head comparison sometime. Since then I’ve also tried the panang and one of the noodle dishes, both of which were good. I also like the scallion pancakes, but I’m a total sucker for them almost anywhere. Looking forward to returning. Must check to see if they deliver to Corn Hill!

New Mings, ohhhhh what a way to check out a new place. For Valentines day my boyfriend and I were going to do Chinese and Movies. I was so excited everyone told me to check out«Mings.» Lately i have been non stop on the go and I haven’t been paying close enough attention to things. Long story short, i ordered food from the wrong place thinking New Mings, was Mings. Now, when I realized what I did, i was a bit upset because we ordered items they didn’t even have on their menu and the lady never told us or even hinted i was calling the wrong place. I do have to say, we were not disappointed with our food. The flavors were good, even though we didn’t get what we were expecting. The price was a little high. After all I was expecting giant portions and cheap meals like everyone kept saying I would get at Mings. I would definitively order from here again, but I would order something I know they have on their menu lol. The running joke now is, not only can I NOT cook, but I can’t even order take out right! Oh well, at least I got to try somewhere new lol.

New Ming is the local comfort food stop for my family. I order Phở, the best in Rochester. My husband, a celiac, orders the Penang, which is superb. My 17-year-old orders the Lomein or the Chicken Fried Rice happily every time and my 21 year-old is a vegetarian and always has plenty of choices. This place is tiny, but I’ve never had to wait for a seat. Take out is VERY generous. Serves beer and wine. Inexpensive, wonderful.
