Unlike the blasphemous store I encountered in Greece, this Raymour and Flanigan at least made me come out content and not wanting to binge eat to fight the anger. I am happy to report that the prices are a little above the average range but they aren’t excessively expensive, hence this is a clearance center. The staff of course were kind of pushy but that’s really what to expect from a furniture store but I had a courteous manner so they respected that. After I managed to get alone, I was able to finally find the entertainment center that I was searching for and ended up making the purchase then and there. It has yet to break or bust so I am satisfied with the product and this furniture store gets the checkmark and the three stars it deserves.

We haven’t yet actually purchased anything from this store, but we have browsed their offerings twice now. The staff isn’t as pushy as a normal furniture store, though that might have had something to do with my harsh lack of eye contact and abrupt brush off of their initial greeting… or maybe that my son and I literally ran through the rows of sofas while my husband browsed the mattresses. The key is to keep moving so they can’t catch you! Prices are obviously less than their«normal» locations. I am still not certain anything is actually worth what it is listed for, but they might have room to negotiate even further. Some of the sofas were priced around $ 300 while others were still above $ 1000. I understand for a high quality couch, $ 1100 is a bargain but the current quality of Raymour & Flanigan furniture has been in question in our house… Club chairs still hover around $ 500 and I will tell you those things can be found for half that on «members only» sale sites. Mattresses, which is why we actually stopped by, were priced well below what you normally find in retail stores — queen sets went for $ 500 while kings could be found for about $ 1000, though not in vast selection. The mattresses seem to have varied between this visit and a few months ago, but the living room furniture looks about the same. We were the only customers in the store for the half hour we were there so I don’t think they move much product. They have signs up offering financing but nothing refers to the financing deals the regular stores offer(no interest and such), but again I’m sure this is all negotiable. They also have signs reminding you that all the sofa/loveseat sets are discounted 40%, so if you need to furnish a whole living room this might be a good place to check out.
