This is my new favorite Asian restaurant in town. My go to is their chicken pad Thai, which is phenomenal. I’ve also had their chicken panang, their phở and sushi and as diverse as these foods are, they were all great. The restaurant is clean and the staff is super nice. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone!

The pork lo mein had a great amount of veggies, pork and flavor. Hot and sour soup was good, not quite hot enough for my tastes. The garlic eggplant were large fried cubes with a thick sauce. Fried rice consisted of rice and a bit of egg. The beef bun was by far the star of the lunch. There was ample tender sauced meat in a really soft bun, garnished with green onion.

Very close to campus so extremely convenient for U of R students that are sick of campus food. Their service is quick and friendly, and seems like a very family-run store. I usually order the phở which is good, standard broth, plenty of noodles and beef. Sometimes it can get a little salty and the basil and string beans seem old but for the price and small store I dont expect much. I’ve also ordered their pad thai a few times and its usually sweet, probably won’t be trying to eat that too many times. Their milk tea is also very very sweet, not my favourite, tastes like straight sugar. Overall would come again since it’s so close, but if I had other options probably wouldn’t.

I though this was pretty good Chinese, but nothing that made it extraordinary. The best part was that we had a huge order, which was ready quickly and had no mistakes. If I’m in the area, I would definitely go back, but I would go out of my way to get a meal there.

By now, most of us probably know the background story on, «The Wok…» But in-case you don’t, according to the RocWiki it was opened by the same owner, Wayne Luong, of the late Wok With You. The Wok has been open about a year now and in that timeframe I have ordered there a handful of times. The dining room is nice and I’m looking forward to eating-in, in the near future. The Wok is a welcome addition to the Brooks Landing neighborhood. It never seems overly busy in the restaurant, but we have seen nice crowds on a couple of occasions. The food is average. I did not like their shrimp pad thai. I’m not sure if it was a precursor to the Thai category on the menu or if I just got a really bad batch? The customer service is good and very friendly. As noted by a fellow Unilocaler, they were closed for about a month prior to July 5th. I’m not sure if this is going to be an annual thing or not, but when I spoke to the kind lady at the front desk, she explained that she was on vacation in Vietnam. As for the rating, I’ll have to take the classic line, «this is really closer 3 ½ stars.» Will be sure to update if anything changes.

I was expecting a juicy wet Bubble Tea drink. Instead I got a fancy, elaborate, crazy thick Mango dessert. It was surprising. Can you imagine«The Shok?» I’ve been to the Wok twice, but the first time it was closed for remodeling. So this is the story of my second trip. I came here *just* for the famous Bubble Tea, so this is a review of that. You can find the Geeks in here, the Cheerleaders, and of course, «The Jok.» Décor: Their new décor is great. It’s a huge place, they really expanded it. It still smells like a building site, though. Star Wars characters eat here. Not so much Kirk but you may see«The Spok.» Menu: It’s full of Viet, Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes. All over the map. Usually that kind of menu means that everything is okay but nothing is great. I have no idea. There’s a secret way to get in. They won’t open the door and let you in unless you know«The Nok.» Service: Not so great. She recommended the Mango Bubble Tea and I appreciated that. But I specifically asked for the shaken, not the smoothie type. And I definitely got the smoothie, because like others said it was more like a dessert. I still liked it though. And also she didn’t seem too thrilled to have me in her place or with the fact that I dropped my change. And a chef was sitting outside the whole time, smoking. Right near the doors. Not my fave thing to see on my way in and out of a place. Don’t wear your normal dress to this place. Wear«The Frok.» Bubble Tea: Well it’s complicated. The good and bad, listed below. The good: a) I really liked it. I’m not sure why, since there were so many issues with it. b) It was different to any other Bubble Tea I’ve had. c) The size was really large and I appreciated that, it offset the cost. d) The bizarre chalky milky flavour with a hint of mango is strangely addictive. Maybe it’s crack. Oh wow, is that the time? I need to get on with the bad list. I just noticed«The Clok.» The bad: a) The bubbles in it were chalky, old, inedible. b) The whole thing had a chalky flavour and consistency and while it was addictive, you may not like it. c) There’s only a tiny hint of mango flavour so if you want it to be very mango, you’ll be disappointed. d) It’s well over $ 3 so it’s not really cheap. And don’t leave your car open in the parking lot. Make sure you use«The Lok.» So come here and try a Bubble Tea and see for yourself. They’re like no other Bubble Tea you’ll ever have. It’s like a fancy dessert. And if you’re in the mood for some action, then just text me and ask for«The C*k.»

One of the best food I had… Really tasty food .Not five star because even if the fish was fresh and tasty .it was breaded .may be my choice is different .I will definitely recommend this place.

Very pleased that they have replaced the California Rollin. We got our food to go but would certainly eat here sometime as well. Bubble tea in several flavors was delish. We ordered Round Steak Phở, a few lunch specials, and shrimp dumplings. Everything was delicious. The shrimp dumplings weren’t quite what I expected. They were good and full of shrimp so maybe that’s why it was $ 3 for 4 of them. The menu offers Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese dishes. We look forward to returning again soon.

The staff was absolutely lovely. Food was great and the bubble tea was spot on. I felt welcomed and would definitely go back or recommend this restaurant.

For some reason, I always assumed this was a take-out only place with mediocre food(I tend to be skeptical of places that claim to do Chinese! Thai! Sushi! Everything!), and was pleasantly surprised when I finally visited for lunch. They have an awesome selection of bubble teas, and you can ask to have it more or less sweet depending on your personal taste! I tried the mango(this was recommended to me by the server), and it was delicious. Kind of like a ice cream sherbet /smoothie at the top, so I can’t wait to come back on a hot summer’s day to get another. I had the Thai Basil Pork, and it was solid. Not the best ever, but definitely solid. Super good value for the price — $ 7.95 for lunch and I had leftovers. Fast service and friendly staff.

On my first visit I went here for a meeting and was distracted from the experience by some intense conversation. This is what I can vouch for… its a great place to meet. The food was good(phat thai) and it was a place that wasn’t too overwhelming to have a good meeting or conversation. I certainly plan to return an explore the menu a bit more. … Back again… for lunch Lunch prices are very good Food is good, above average Chinese We had rainbow beef and schezuan chicken. The hot sour soup is excellent. Wanted to get some pictures posted on this place. … Back again :-) 2 recommendations Wonton soup — homemade wontons and peppery broth. Turnip cakes — unique and delicious

I’ve been here twice and food is really decent. On my last visit I had the chicken and lemon grass. This dish is amazing. The sesame chicken is also very very tasty and cooked well. Only giving four stars because there is room for improvement in the atmosphere and setup. I hope more patrons come and keep it here in the neighborhood. It’s a keeper!

I’ve eaten here several times and enjoyed it. They offer Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese cuisine and it’s fun trying the different dishes. The dim sum makes a good snack for take-out. They also have some really neat décor, including a dragon — some two feet long — carved from solid jade. Overall, The Wok is definitely a great addition to the neighborhood. The one drawback I’ve found is that the bubble smoothies tend to be too sugary.
