They sat us by the kitchen away from the other diners after walking us past many empty tables the way southern restaurants used to seat their colored guests back in the Jim Crow era. Being that close to the kitchen you would think our food would have arrived hot. Wrong! My mother’s steak stir fry was lukewarm. Maybe they held her food up waiting on my salad to finish cooking, so we could be served at the same time. My salad was supposed to be mixed greens as advertised on the menu but was just shredded iceberg. Lackluster customer service from our waitress and noise from the kitchen that interrupted our lunch time conversation, made for a sub-par dining experience. I’m being generous with the 2 star rating because of the restaurant’s overall cleanliness.

Pizza was tasty but could have been hotter. My salad however was not fresh at all, cucumber appeared really old so I didn’t eat that. Yuck. Service was so so. Friendly but pretty slow.

I used to work at this restaurant and I only have good things to say about it. Even after working with their food for 7 years I still think it is fantastic. My favorites are the chicken spinoccoli pasta and the roasted eggplant spinach pizza. They have a very large menu with something for everyone. One of their staples is the pizza skins, which are mashed potatoes covered with cheddar and bacon in a flaky deep dish pizza crust. Other good dishes include any pizza they offer, the shrimp and crab fondue, the buffalo chicken quesadillas and the rattlesnake pasta. You really can’t go wrong eating here. The company has instilled great hospitality in their servers and they really do care about your dining experience. The staff keeps everything really clean, especially the kitchen. Don’t forget to check out their lunch specials during the week till 3 p.m., you can choose from a ton of things for really cheap and they have an all you can eat soup bar. Plus, happy hour at the bar has improved greatly and is worth checking out. They also have pitchers of of sangria for $ 20 which is definitely worth it!

I hadn’t been to UNO in a while. I was sad when they stopped offering the Spinoccoli pizza. What a shame… A week or so ago, dad offered to treat me to lunch. I wanted pizza, and suggested a couple other places. Dad being dad, maybe a little out of his comfort zone with the other suggestions, offered a compromise on UNO. Friday afternoon, about 11:15. The restaurant had just opened. It was empty. One or two other parties in the place. Perfect for my dad! Our waitress was polite, courteous, and non-invasive. Score another point for Dad. He hates it when the servers are too friendly. He went on and on about a story… Anyways. I digress. I opened the menu, and I was completely surprised to see that the spinoccoli pizza was back on the menu! I even told our server… it was apparent that I was happy. As much as I don’t often care for chain restaurants, I have always loved a good deep-dish spinoccoli pizza. I just can’t help it! So I was so excited, and my pizza craving was fixed. Kudos UNOs for listening to your patrons and bringing back this favorite. I’m sure I’ll be back. PS — dad also liked the kiosks on the table. It made paying easy and we didn’t have to wait(not that we had to wait long anyways since it was so quiet, but you get what I’m saying…)

I attended a Paint Nite event here a few weeks ago but stopped in a few minutes early to grab some dinner with my family. The server was attentive and the apps(though not the best I’ve ever had) were backed up by a bomb pizza. UNOs is not a place where I frequent since I don’t live in that area or travel there much but I will say that I would definitely come back if I was in the area in the future. I do highly recommend UNOs for Paint Nite events as well. It was a quiet Monday evening and very relaxed!

I had the decent experience at unos we went on a Saturday during dinner time and the wait was kind of long but what don’t You expect! It was a very blah experience nothing really stood out to me. We dos have trouble getting a hold of our waiter a few times but that was probably because they were so busy. Nonetheless if u like chain restaurants I would recommend going here.

A disrespectful salad/wedge. I ordered their special for $ 10.00 which included a 6″ personal pizza and a wedge. Perhaps, it was my own ignorance for not understanding that they would cut a head of iceberg lettuce and throw it on a plate. I found this to be offensive, in no restaurant should a iceberg be cut in quarters and presented with brown spots on the«wedge». If I want a wedge then I would go to Wegmens and do this myself. #SentItBack

Service was very good. Food was good as well. Solid dinner and it was fairly busy on a Sunday night. Good spot to eat.

Friday nite 8÷28÷15 for dinner around 6pm. Service was good. I order 2 for $ 12 buff chip salad and personal pizza. Salad was good but it seemed a little less than what I had in the past going there. The puzza came out with cheese and pepperoni burnt!!!(Pic posted). So mgr comes over to the table and I show her the pizza and she says they turned up temps in oven experiment! ! So i then ask how the kitchen or the server can send this out to a table? Completely clueless to what I was saying. I finally gave up on it but I did ask for another pizza because I was not eating that one. The second pizza was cooked perfectly. Overall ok experience I guess it also had a $ 10 coupon which made it a little easier to deal with.

They have the best management staff! My wife &2 small children stopped in to this Uno’s during our visit to the Strong museum on 6⁄29. Uno’s was also hosting a paint night that same evening. Once we sat down, I could tell they we’re a little overwhelmed servicing the painters and the dinner crowd. Our beer, salads, appetizer and entrées all came at once. My wife wasn’t happy about this. Then, my daughter’s children’s pizza never came. Turns out the waitress mistakenly delivered it to the wrong table. It sat there for a few minutes, then she realized the error and brought it to us. The bill totaled about $ 65. The food was very delicious and fairly priced. It was just that we had to try and consume/enjoy all of the food at once rather than enjoy the food in the order in which we ordered it. My wife asked me «Should I say something about the service?» I said«No, I doubt they care or will do anything about it anyway.» We never complain about anything b/c usually no businesses really care. Then the manager visited our tablet and asked how everything was. My wife decided to tell the manager how she felt. My jaw must have hit the floor. The manager actually cared about our experience. She was not defensive. She admitted they were a little overwhelmed for a while. She offered us free desert or to comp the appetizer. I wasn’t interested in either of those b/c my fat ass ate all the food anyway. I was pleasantly shocked to see such a great manager who really cared, listened and talked to us like humans. Give that girl a raise & promotion!

Came in aroubd 615ish tonight. Wasnt very busy. But did pick up. It’s been a few years since I had Unos. And it hasn’t changed. Just as awesome as I remember. The food was great. I got a salad before my meal and it was huge. We split a regular deep dish pizza which is extremely filling! Our server was completely perfect abs I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I acutally need to come back more. Great food ans4 service. Thanks for a great supper!

I haven’t been to an UNOs pizza spot since they left California about 20 years ago. I had to check them out… funny because I ate the salmon and didn’t have the deep dish pizza I remember from a time long gone. Our bartender/waiter was extra cool and had good conversations. He lived on long beach California in the 70s and 80s… good times! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and the atmosphere. My Salmon was prepped by the gods/godly chef on this beautiful Sunday in Rochester. My margarita needed to be revamped and made stronger, and thankfully I wasn’t charged extra :) Cheers to UNOs and thank you for the good experience and reunion!!!

They have amazing deep dish, the crust is extremely buttery and the perfect thickness. My mom and I go here all the time and split a full-size cheese and tomato deep dish; their other food is relatively decent, but the deep dish is by far the best. They also send out amazing coupons in the mail, so make sure to sign up– we just got a free 10 $ off 10 $ or more. Service is good, nothing amazing, but the atmosphere is always clean and never have they had problems with messing up orders.

So as previously stated this is my first time at UNO since they left California 20+ years ago. First thing I noticed was how clean the restroom is. The cleanliness is much appreciated. I ordered the Honey Crisp Chicken Salad and a deep dish Pepperoni and Cheese pizza. I’m giving UNOs five stars because most often we remember things being good many years ago only to come back and realize our taste buds have outgrown the establishment. This was not the case with UNOs. While I’d never had the Honey Crisp salad before it was delicious as was the case with the Deep Dish pizza. If I was not in public I might have had pizza all over my face and hands but instead I used a knife and fork. So yes, after more than 20 years having passed I’m glad to say it’s still as tasty as I remember it being. It’s too bad they left the SF Bay. I know lots of people from there who remember UNOs but I finally got to have it again. Well done guys.

I like the décor of this place, not too open, but looked pretty fresh. Waiter was new but friendly. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan and Rattlesnake pasta. Both dishes came within 30 minutes along with a fresh cheese breadstick that was tasteless. The entrees weren’t much better. The Chicken Parm was paper thin, covered in dry overcooked cheese. The penne and sauce was pretty bland. The Rattlesnake pasta was also with penne, also not that tasty. It had a cream sauce, and I think it would have been better with a red sauce. Also, it seemed spaghetti would have been better with both dishes. Oh well. Perhaps pizza might have been the better choice.

I’ve always liked Uno’s. Never understood why people dislike chain restaurants. So this location is in a good sized shopping plaza right across the road from Marketplace Mall. The roads get busy in Henrietta so it can be mildly frustrating getting here. I have been here multiple times in the past and rarely have had issues with the food or service. I can remember once where we were seated at a table that had been poorly cleaned, but that was immediately rectified. Maybe one other time our waitress wasn’t very efficient at refilling our drinks and didn’t check up as often as she should have, but it honestly wasn’t a big deal and was an isolated incident. We are always greeted at the door by a host or hostess and they are very cordial and friendly. I have never had to wait here. Our servers are very friendly, I have never had an issue with attitude or anything off putting. For the most part, they are efficient and helpful. During my last visit, my water never got empty before she refilled it. The food is quite delicious. The Número Uno pizza is one of my all time favorites. I love deep dish pizza with a crapload of toppings. Their sandwiches are done well too. One of my favorites is the turkey bacon and Swiss sandwich with a skinless bake side. I mainly get their sandwiches and pizza here, haven’t had many of the entrees. More often than not, I leave UNOs with a full belly and quite satisfied. One of the better chain restaurants out there. I will undoubtedly return. Solid 4 stars.

What, I ventured out to Uno? Am I nuts(no need to answer that)? Well, what else could we do. We WERE in Henrietta doing some shopping and(shock! horror!) Carraba’s was slammed with customers(dig that Chicken Bryan. Not bad for a chain). Not wishing to wait 45 – 55 minutes(we were HONGRY), we bopped on over to the Uno across from Mark-it Up Mall because they popped up when I searched for gluten-free food on Unilocal. First, the good news. Uno has an entire page on their menu dedicated to Gluten-Free options. Yay! But with every drop of good news(wait for it, wait for it) there has to be a bit of bad, right? Well sorta… in our case it was an interminable wait for our server who disappeared for over a half-hour after taking our order. We flagged down another server and inquired, which resulted in our server returning to our table, flustered and apologetic. Two minutes later she returned with our food, which was(lucky for her) still warm. The verdict? Not bad… I had the herb chicken with grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. My wife had another chicken dish(with Kalamata olives and some other grains). Our server worked hard to make amends for her tardiness, even knocking off a few bucks from our bill(in lieu of free desserts). Will I be back? I probably *will* return if I’m stuck in Henrietta and need to eat gluten free… and the line’s not too long at Carraba’s !
