Same as the usual. Really like the skillet dishes. Food served piping hot as it should be. The only problem, is that the truck stop Denny’s serve smaller portions than the traditional stand alone restaurants!

My husband just called me from there… 6:30pm Dec 2, 2014. Waitress was very nice, but the line cook was horrible. His plain burger came out with cheese and the waitress was very sorry. She returned it to the kitchen to have a new one fired. INSTEAD the line cook pealed off most of the cheese, flipped it over and served it on same plate. My husband saw the cheese remnants and the waitress took it back to kitchen for yet again another refire. The server said loudly, «why the fu*k did u tell him?» It was said so loudly that the guests heard… He should be fired! My husband will NEVER go there again.

Saturday morning at 1AM with not much else going on, we pulled off the highway for this because it was open 24 hours. The exit is a couple dozen miles south of Charlotte and the South Carolina border. It shares the parking lot with a truck stop that has 24 hour gas and diesel and therefore is very easy to negotiate, well lit, and has easy access back to the Interstate. Not many people here, but we were seen to a table when we walked in. Our orders were taken promptly and the food preparation was quick and as requested. The $ 2−4−6−8 specials are a good deal. I chose the $ 4 because I didn’t want too much food at this late hour. A pair of eggs(over medium), two sausages and two pancakes. See the picture, I have no complaints at all! For sure, the free Denny’s wifi was great because there isn’t much 4G between here and Columbia! Pay for your meal and then maybe get something for the road from the truck stop convenience store.
