I was in Rock Hill for the weekend, and while I could have stayed with friends, there were six adults sharing one bathroom, so I decide to find a room on Hotwire so that I could have some privacy and alone time. Once I announced I had received a room for $ 42, another couple decided to rent a room at this same hotel, and their Hotwire rate came up to $ 56 for the same hotel. Its amazing how we had two totally different experiences at the same hotel. My room at the $ 42 rate, was a single non-smoking, with one queen bed and the room had color tv, microwave and a mini fridge. It was painted bright red and was cleaner than expected. The A/C was quiet and didn’t affect my sinus. The bathroom area was also clean and had a newer styled sink and great water pressure in the shower. Room 217. The other room was a smoking room with a double beds and we could barely stay in the room the stench was so strong, it was a first floor room, and I can’t remember the room number, because they ended up not staying in the room because it had also had roaches. We also had to notify the front desk there were no towels in the room. I was shocked when the hotel refunded their money, as usually you cannot get a refund on Hotwire rooms. Check out time is at 11am, and I overslept, so even though I had the do not disturb sign on the door, the maid attempted to bust in the door sometime after 11am, but was unable to since I had the safety lock on the door. Less than two minutes later the lady at the front desk called and I thought pretty nastily asked if I was staying or checking out. I asked her the time and she told me it was 11:20, I told her I would be leaving and jumped up, as I hung up the phone, I heard her tell me that I needed to hurry up, so I would say that a late check-out needs to be requested in advance. One night I got back to the hotel about 3am, and there was no noise in the parking lot and it was a very quiet stay, as I stated earlier, not only did I sleep all night, but I overslept the next morning, so obviously the bed and pillows were comfortable. I was very pleased that they offered free wi-fi, but I had to call down to the front desk to get the code.

Was in town for the night and looking for a cheap room. They had a good rate so I decided to stay here. Was I suprised. The room had been nicely renovated with very nice furniture, nice sink and bathroom. Beds were very firm and comfortable. Nice cold ac. They have free wifi, but it’s not the best. Signal was always strong but the connection speed was a little slow. Pool was closed but not a big deal because I had to time to swim. Will definitely consider staying here again if I’m in the area.

My family and I were only spending one night at this hotel for one night so it wasn’t a big deal but it was pretty mediocre. Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke and when we left, we had to re-wash all of our clothes to get the smoke smell out. The only outlet in our room that worked was the outlet that you had to keep the light on for it to work. My husband had a cpap machine so we needed the outlet. The only really great thing about this place was the people that worked at the front desk were very friendly and the continental breakfast was really good. There were Belgium waffles, bagels, cereal, fruit, juice and coffee, etc.
