Went to Longhorn on Sunday after church! I have to say the service and management have improved immensely. The appetizer came out in a timely fashion, next coarse was salads, then the steaks came perfectly cooked. One of us ordered ribs and asked that they not be over cooked, so the manager delivered them stating he handpicked those just for her. Our server was fantastic! Not once did we have to ask for anything!

Its a chain restaurant so set your expectations accordingly. Good service and the food is fine.

This location is well situated off the interstate, so not hard to locate. The atmosphere tends to be slighter louder than average and the dress is casual as most Longhorns are, so you don’t have to put on your Sunday best. I have visited several times and each time the customer service has been great, the orders done right and food very good considering this is not an upscale restaurant which they don’t pretend to be. I do find sometimes that they will give smaller portions than other Longhorn Steakhouse but the meal is always enough for me to eat. Definitely, one location to stop by and have a quick lunch or dinner.

Came here on a business trip — really surprised with this as it’s a chain — flatiron steak was really good, waitress service was top notch — definitely recommend

This is a great LongHorn that I would recommend to anybody. The service is usually quick even though we sometimes have to wait because we usually come here on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s one of the best restaurants in Rock Hill! Great service and Food.

Stopped for lunch on our way north. We were seated and waited on promptly. Server was friendly. I ordered the ribs, not much meat on them but they were tasty. My husband ordered the prime rib sandwich with onions. They should have called it the onion sandwich with a couple slices of meat. The iced tea tastes like colored water. Not a very positive experience. We make this trip several times s year. We won’t be back

the only steakhouse in rock hill that knows how to run the front of house. Very consistent. Highly recommend the bone in ribeye which is my default go-to steak.

This has always been an awesome place, great food, great service. Very consistent food prep. Can’t say anything bad about it at all.

I had the sirloin steak with mash potatoes, it was great! The mash potatoes could of used a little more side but it was still good, the service was good snd the inside was nice and clean.

We went yesterday and the food was tasty, service was great, servers were great however… my steak was cold and cooked well done. Me and my guest ordered medium well and it we didn’t get that. Of course they offered to take it back and have one prepared the way we wanted, but we didn’t want that. Like I said everything was tasty but if you’re a steakhouse then you specialize in steaks. no? Get it right the first time every time. You’re kitchen should not produce anything less than a perfect steak everytime.

I love Longhorns and eat at them frequently. This particular resturant never seems to have enough help. There will be empty tables and people will be waiting in a line. Today was particularly frustrating. We waited in line and then they put us at a table where the bartender was waiting on the bar, the tables at the bar area, and the next group of tables. A young man came and got our drink orders. We ordered unsweetened tea and of course, he brought us sweet tea. Our waiter was far behind in waiting tables and finally a waitress took our order. Our waiter came and finally told us he was our waiter. He exchanged our teas but it took a while. It took about 50 minutes for 2 hamburgers. They were good but the entire experience was frustrating and not very enjoyable. It seems every time we visit this resturant they are short staffed.

Nicer atmosphere than Texas Roadhouse but a little higher prices. Food is good at both, but in-laws will only go here because of the loudness of competitors. Pleased with all meals I’ve had here. Have had far superior servers here compared to other similar places.

Some things were good some things were not so great… The warm bread served before your meal was good! The French onion soup was very good The menu is full of great options – soups, salads, great appetizers, seafood, steaks, burgers, chicken, etc… I ordered the grilled chicken/strawberry salad. It had feta, pecans, raspberry vinaigrette, etc. Sounds good right? So what’s the problem? Well, the chicken came out with a pink center. That wouldn’t be a problem if it was a steak but I never want my grilled chicken to be medium rare. The server saw my chicken and was disgusted so he took it back to have them cook it properly. Well, the rest of my table finished their meals and my salad finally came out. The server was apologetic but no manager came over, no real attempt to reconcile the fact they served me salmonella on a platter and caused a major inconvenience with the other people in my party. Others had the burger, salmon and a chicken sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their entrees… the mashed and sweet potatoes were the crowd’s favorites! Overall a decent experience but wish they attended to some«issues» a little better.

As usual great steak for the price. Love their Wild West Shrimp for starters. That is why we went this time. So more of a tip, try the Wild West Shrimp!

I’ve had better from Longhorn. White the hostess was nice and the waiter was attentive(refilling sodas without asking and getting my ‘no ice’ right every time), the food was what let me down today. I went with the chili and a Caesar salad. The chili was barely warm and I found a sliced carrot in the Caesar which didn’t belong. Plenty of thinly shaved cheese was nice though. I didn’t complain, because my table mate enjoyed his meal and I did not want to appear as one of «those people.» I was also a little distracted by the country music, which was way too loud for lunch time. I know this is «The South» but it did not belong.

I’m going out on a long limb in this review for LongHorn: Four Stars. Yes, I know it’s a chain. My four stars take that into account. Sitting at the bar, our meals were really good. I had the bacon-wrapped filet which was beefy and juicy versus some filets you find out there that careen toward mushy and tasteless. The salad was fresh. The asparagus, while not al dente, was also tasty. My first martini, ordered ‘extra dry’ arrived to me wet behind the ears, but with some coaching, our congenial bartender made a nice second round. So, given the lack of interesting choices in the area, LongHorn may do you just fine. It did just that for me.

I’m not really sure what to say in a review about Longhorns. I mean, it’s Longhorns. I like the atmosphere. The steaks are always cooked just right. The options for side items are decent. I eat here once a month.

I used to be a big fan of Longhorn due to their sirloin tips over mashed taters with excellent gravy. When they discontinued the dish… my wife and I quit going. The rest of the dishes were things I could get elsewhere, and there wasn’t anything all that great about them. Over the past year, I’ve gone back and had Flo’s Filet, mashed taters, and steamed asparagus. I make this meal at home a few times a year… with the exception of grilling my asparagus. So when I saw this on the menu, I had to try it. I’ve been back to this Longhorn three times now. All three of the items on my plate have been perfect each time. Nothing makes me forget a place forever like screwing up a steak! Hello? Don’t you cook steak as your primary dish? This Longhorn always does mine right. My only disappointment is their inability to make a consistent salad. Too much dressing… too little dressing… dressing on the salad… dressing on the side of the salad… and so on. Overall, yes, it’s a meal you can make yourself… but it’s nice to have someone save you the time and let you relax and enjoy it. **Their honey-wheat bread is a nice complimentary appetizer. Try: Flo’s Filet
