Texas Roadhouse

Bad experience. Cold Prime Rib brought to table… Then told apparently it was the last piece. Ordered ribeye instead, that came undercooked. Waitress acted as though they were doing us a favor by not charging for that meal… A meal that couldn’t be eaten. Never offered additional beverages or dessert!!!

Friends steak, too done, returned, his wife’s pork chops were fine„ my dinner salad was fine, and my husbands chicken dinner ok. Parking, service fine.

First time and Last time! Customer Service was awful. We went for my husband’s birthday. Thank goodness we had a gift card. I really would have been ticked if we had to pay the entire bill. There was 11 of us, we realize they cannot seat «big» parties together. We told them we would take 2 tables close together. Which the manager said ok. Mind you this was 4pm on a Saturday ahead of the crowd. They gave us 2 of the calling things, said it would be about 30 minutes. After 5 minutes, The manager came and told me, we can seat you in separate sections in 20 minutes or if we want to be seated in the same section we would have to wait an hour or more. We chose to separate. When they took our first group, we had a two year old, no offer of a booster seat, no silverware, no napkins and there were 6 empty tables in this section. Really! The waitress got the rest of our group beside us. The food was erratic coming out. The 2 year old was starving and his Jr. Meal was one of the last to come out. The food was nothing to write home about either. The food was cold. My prime rib was more fat than meat and didn’t taste too good. Such a Huge Disappointment! This place is awful! No stars!

I have given this locations multiple visits including one where there was hair in the corn. We keep coming back– gluttons for punishment? LOL Well, it’s unfortunate the service is so mediocre at this location. No one tells you their name, smile much or genuinely look like they want to be at work. I get it– you have bad/​off days, but muster some customer service from somewhere. Seems like the place is handled by all under 25 crowd. The food was just okay, much rather visit locations in Concord /​Columbia/​Myrtle Beach. Tipped well despite the server just not that great. She even was surprised, so that should have been a clue for us. Oh well, I think you can stick a fork in it for our family –because we’re done.

Best ribs!!! Great service and fantastic food. Ribs ARE fall off the bone. Side dishes are delicious. Best homemade ranch anywhere.
Kirstan was our outstanding server. Place was busy but the call ahead program worked out great.

Delicious as per usual with Texas Roadhouse. Ribs are delicious! I highly recommend the ribs to anyone interested. No bbq sauce needed. Dry rub and enjoy!

Good solid American food. We enjoy going here for country fried steak. It’s hard to find since we moved from Texas. It’s one of the better chain restaurants. The rolls are awesome, menu has lots of options and salads are fresh.

This restaurant is one of my families favorites however. This paticular one is horrible. I give every restaurant 2 chances. I gave this one 3. All 3 times I order my steak/​fillet med rare. 2 of the 3 times the steak came out well. Both times I returned the steak to them and they brought me a rare steak! Okay a steakhouse that can’t cook steaks. So the third effort was a bit diffrent… Me feeling as if I didn’t want to waste money and being sceptical of their abilities at cooking a steak ordered a regular sirloin. Med well again… the steak arrives well done yet again… my anger makes me want to leave immediately but my wife calms me down…14 minutes later the supervisor arrives with another steak and says please cut this open to see if your happy with it… I cut it open in front of them everyone around is shocked to see I recieved another well done steak… I walk out… my wife still ends up paying… Ive paid for 2 tough dry filets here. I told the supervisor I would not ever pay for another steak at this location ever I walked out. If your a steak house you had better be able to do one thing right… steak…imo…this is not a steakhouse I’d try a diffrent steakhouse if I was you.

The steaks here are great but the main experience here is the super long wait times you can call ahead and get put on a list but you will still wait just not as long I recommend week night. Because Friday and Saturdays are insanely busy but the steak is spot on

Food was ok. But service was bad. We had a group of 12 we were all seated at two different tables, we had to wait too long for drinks, had to ask for silverware, they didn’t just bring it with food. Was not the best service or night out when celebrating birthdays.

Talk about a junk place. Hated it. Servers pants were so baggy and low and in the drink room, they were giggling and making people nearly slip because soda was running through the aisle. The manager was no help and just giggled.

Had the veteran free lunch today (spouse did). Was understandably very busy but crowd was handled well. We are HUGE Texas Roadhouse fans and were not disappointed in the service, the veterans menu or the food. Wait staff was very attentive, friendly and food was as ordered. All in all a very pleasant Veterans Day experience and another good Texas Roadhouse. Thank you Texas Roadhouse for your kindness to our veterans — I know it was appreciated. So glad you took a chance on Rock Hill — you have certainly filled a huge gap in good eating establishments.

Ordered the ribeye, Caesar salad and baked potato. Not bad. Steak was cooked as ordered. Potato was a little small. Wait staff very attentive. Drinks refilled promptly. The peanuts were a nice treat. Only compliant was the volume of the country music blasting out of the speakers. Would dine there again.

I was a waitress at a Texas Roadhouse in the past, so I was excited to have dinner here for the first time. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to Texas Roadhouse expectations.
When the hostess went to seat us, she walked us right by the meat case and didn’t ask us if we wanted to pick a steak, let alone even point out the steaks. Our greet time after sitting at our table was longer than expected. The server was nice, but he was obviously distracted (later he told us he was doing his side work throughout our visit and that was why he «hadn’t been around much».) After taking our food order, the server said he’d bring more bread, but it never came. Once our food arrived (brought by another server), we didn’t see our server until after I was completely finished with my salad and filet. The filet was VERY fatty, so I was quite disappointed since I know that’s not the norm for Texas Roadhouse. We never had a manager visit our table, which is something most Texas Roadhouse managers make sure to do for every table.
The reason I’m giving 3 stars regardless of my bad experience is that I really hope it will live up to Texas Roadhouse standards next time we visit. It may have just been an off day for this location.

I don’t usually love chain restaurants but this place is a guilty pleasure. The biggest draw for me I think is the prices… a sirloin, potato, salad and bread for $ 10 is cheaper than I can do at home. Big fan of their ribs – wife and I split the full rack & each get a potato and bread and still come in under $ 20. 4 stars because its just so darn noisy in there.

First let me say that this place is crowded for a reason, the food and service is excellent. I sat at the bar and was waited on by the sweetest girl named Lauren. The margaritas were perfect and my friends beer was ice cold. The 8.99 late day special is one of the best values in Rock Hill. The yeast rolls are always hot and buttery. A 3.00 22 oz draft beer ??? Really ??? I have eaten at the other couple of steak chains in Rock Hill and I will not be going back. There was a small issue that was quickly taken care of by the manager on duty D.J. Great food for a steakhouse chain and excellent service.

Just finished having dinner here. It was great! There was a crowd but we didn’t have to wait long. The food was delicious. And the waitress, Taylor, was phenomenal.
It seems like the kind of place you could go for a bunch of different meals. Even of you just want to go somewhere to watch a game, the bar has tons of seating with HUGE tvs.
I would recommend this place.

I’ve been there twice… First time I had the grilled pork chop… TOO SALTY!!! Couldn’t even finish it.
When ordering I asked if they had mac and cheese… the waitress said well its not baked… more like box mac and cheese. .don’t bother. 2^nd time I ordered the burger… decent. .can’t really go wrong with that. …I keep hearing about the ribs. must try that and the steak. Good atmosphere. …staff is friendly. .Wil go back. Oh the yeast rolls… delish. Could eat the basket my self… sooo good
