The Rock Island Arsenal is a classic layout 9 out and 9 in. Bordered with river on the front nine there are several holes with great views. Course is much more challenging now that Blue Tees are available playing 6850 Yds. Tremendously small greens «old school.» Narrow fairways reward a straight ball and golf course management. Power players will find themselves scratching their heads as you can get out of position easily.

As a past member, I can tell you that this is one of the finest clubs I have had the pleasure of being a part of.
I have fond memories of the holidays, great food and company. Summers by the pool were the best. I worked at the Arsenal by day and relaxed at the club in the evenings and weekends.
They always went out of their way how to make me feel welcome.

Excellent restaurant at this historic golf course on Rock Island Arsenal. While it’s steeped in tradition, you might not suspect how great the dining is at the clubhouse of this course. On my visit during St. Patrick’s Day, I enjoyed the Corned Beef and Cabbage platter, which was the best Corned Beef I have ever eaten. I recommend this establishment to anyone thinking about trying it out.
