Nothin fancy– just your standard ice cream and taffy shop with few little toys and post cards. Ice cream was great though! I’d go back.

Stop number three on our Oregon coastal adventure, Rockaway Beach. After grabbing some lunch at Cannon Beach we were in the mood for some ice cream, Unilocal app in had, next stop was The Picnic Basket which just so happened to be a two minute walk to the beach. :)
After making it to the shop I had tried the vanilla and one of the salted caramel flavors, they where both delicious! If was so so hard to choose a flavor because they all looked so good! They actually served Tillamook ice cream, which is made right up the block.
Moral of the story, if your passing through or going to Rockaway Beach, stop at The Picnic Basket.

Delicious salt water taffies! Good flavours! My favorite was the golden pear. Around $ 7 per pound. They have a bunch of random other things. Some of the taffies were a bit harder than others, but most were quite soft, the way they should be. And soooo gooodddd!
