Pope Sails and Rigging

OK I have had two sails made by Doug Pope and, as a sailboat owner for 35 years, I can not say enough about his quality and service. Doug did a great job of discussing how I use my sails (I race a bit, but mostly cruise) and he made the best sails I have ever had for my Tartan 37. There was a small error in one of them and he immediately drove several hours to pick up the sail take it back, fix it and redeliver it to me. The full battened main he made is a work of sail art and technical performance. We sailors are lucky to have this kind of skill and personal attention here in Maine. His prices are competitive with the imported sails and his quality is better than the other national lofts I have used.
