I am definitely a regular here. I have been to a few of the Bistro 33s but this one if my fav! It’s inside the Mercedes dealership which makes it a bit on the quiet side but that also means they offer more deals to keep people coming in: Every night from 3:30 to 6pm they have a great happy hour! $ 4 glasses of wine and well drinks, and $ 3.33 appetizers! Wednesday is Social Networking Night: Buy one get one entrees if you«Like» their Facebook page! Awesome deal! Thursday is $ 1 taco Night, and they are GOOD! All of their food is great but my favorite thing on the menu is the Puget Sound Panini(crab, shrimp, artichokes and cheddar cheese on sourdough bread). Get it with their sweet potato fries! SOYUMMY!

We have enjoyed many meals at Bistro 33. Yes it is in a car dealership — while this may seem odd it does offer a nice relaxing patio and inside dining. I would much rather enjoy a meal at Bistro 33’s patio than at a restaurant in a strip mall or in a busy shopping center. We have enjoyed breakfast, lunch and happy hour and will be returning for all in the future. Yummy breakfast, awesome panini, and great sliders and street tacos.

I went here before I was vegan and thought that the food was pretty good. I think I used to get some kind of crab panini? Something like that. They don’t have a lot of vegan food, but the sweet potato fries are REALLY bomb. I went here for happy hour a couple of weeks ago and had a hard time not«nom“ing the fries since I was going home to have dinner. The decoration is very«classy» since this is in the Mercedes Benz dealership. I wouldn’t say that the servers are«stuck up» but let’s just say that they are very aware of the clientele that they expect to be serving. I also didn’t think that their happy hour was very exciting. I was stuck with a rum and coke that wasn’t very tasty and was still like $ 6. This is probably a good place to go for happy hour if you like wine(which I really don’t). Bottom line… if you aren’t vegan, the food’s ok but the service isn’t so much, and you have to look at a lot of Mercedes!

I love all the Bistro 33s, and this one happens to be closest to us. We used to come here for breakfast and Bloody Marys, and would sit on the patio with Molly whenever the weather would permit. Unfortunately they no longer do early breakfast(they do serve breakfast once again, but starting at 11:30 and a smaller menu selection). I understand, because it is never busy in there and I’m sure they just didn’t have the clientele to support it, but I miss those mornings :( We still come in for bloody marys and sometimes apps or lunch. I have never eaten dinner at this location, but I have been in for happy hour a few times – pretty good deals! Favorites: sweet potato fries and the yummy dipping sauces, spinach salad and the buffalo chicken salad, the reuben panini(Chris’ go-to lunch!), and the street tacos(especially when they’re on happy hour pricing!!!) Don’t be discouraged from going here just because is tucked inside the dealership; once you’re inside, it has great décor and service!

Excellent service, and the food is good too! I’d love to give it 5 stars, but I there is something missing and I just can’t put my finger on it.

Food is good, but not as great as the Bistro 33 in Sacramento(still think it was a horrible idea that they closed it). Basically, as much as I like their food, I gave it three stars because: — It’s really weird/awkward eating right next to the car dealership. I personally don’t like looking at still cars and people walking around checking out cars while I’m eating. Hahaha. — When I went there the service was just bad. They sat us down at the smallest table possible, when there was a bigger table available. I’m sure it wasn’t taken or reserved either because we asked the hostess if we could sit them there, but she just smiled and laughed, as if it was a joke. — We asked for more water twice, but it NEVER came. The food is still good but I want to eat somewhere with a pleasant view, great service, and not in a car dealership!

Stopped in today to get a running light replaced and had lunch. Love the look of the place and love the concept of it being in the dealership. The food was disappointing though. We had the calamari and Chop Chop Salad. The calamari was very bland, no taste at all with way too much breading. Thankfully there was a spicy sauce to dip it in. The salad was somewhat better but still lacked flavor and considering it had salami and chicken in it that was surprising.

I love this place! I have never had a bad meal here! I LOVE and reccomend the«Puget Sound» panini and you HAVE to try the sweet potato fries — the white truffle mayo dipping sauce is to die for! My best friend and I usually order the panini and fries and split them since they are rich and filling. We tried the sauteed short ribs with mashed potatoes and the lobster raviolis and they were wonderful too! I have been to another Bistro 33 location in East Sac, and I really love the ambience at this one – even if it’s inside a car dealership! You have to check out the cool bathrooms, also!

I had a very good experience at lunch. The Puget Sound panini was very good and my cappuccino was so good that I ordered another. The service was very good and friendly. I also liked the décor.

«Where is this damn place?!» Oh. it’s INSIDE the Mercedez dealership. kind of an odd place to have a restaurant but on the bright side, you do get to look at all the nice fancy cars that you can’t afford. Not what I expected at all to be honest, coming from living in Davis where the Bistro 33 restaurant is gorgeous, this place does NOT compare at all. I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s not UGLY, but it’s pretty small and not very impressive, comparably. Was expecting to have a somewhat fancy date here but I was disappointed. We ended up ordering a cup of clam chowder, a cup of tomato basil soup, sweet potato fries, and the Seafood Risotto. All of the above were delicious except the Risotto, that wasn’t as good as many of the other places I’ve had. Dinner was pricey and I think the fact that the restaurant overall disappointed me, I didn’t feel like it was worth the money. If you don’t mind an odd location with somewhat pricey food, then you might love this place. Food wasn’t good enough for me to want to come back, considering everything else I mentioned.

Great concept… Stopped in yesterday for a complimentary lunch and walked out with a Benz about 90 minutes later… The area is nice… Serves breakfast lunch and dinner… Staff was nice. Food was good… Not great but we only had salads. They do have a happy hour with drink and food specials. I think on Wednesday, they offer two for one dinners if you mention facebook We might go back for dinner…

I have been here for a light dinner as well as a banquet event. I wasn’t impressed with the banquet event as there was not one thing vegetarian that was offered — not one thing. They did offer to make me something specia… after the event was over and if I paid for it. I had already paid $ 50 to be there, so that did not sit well with me. I went there this past week for a light dinner /glass of wine and it was ok. I had the Pikes Market panini with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was pretty good but SUPER greasy. The sweet potato fries were also good, but there wasn’t a lot of them. I might come here again and get a double order of sweet potato fries for $ 12 and a side of vegetables for $ 5… oh, they are a little pricey too — did I mention that? Maybe I’ll just go during Happy Hour and get a glass of wine.

So, I came here after a somewhat bad night of drinking(during which this homophobic woman almost threw a bottle at my head and somebody got their passport stolen? I also went skinny dipping…), so, needless to say, hangover central, and I was queasy. A pity, when the food was pretty delish: I got clam chowder and a caesar salad. The bread helped me work through the worst of my queasiness though, so I think I can honestly give the food here(middle-high American fare) a thumbs up. Also: our waiter was hellaaaa cute. I tried leaving my number(and e-mail) on two napkins, but so far, not a peep! *sigh* Was the tip not big enough? *teardrop* Anywhose, now that the Bistro 33 downtown is closed(bummer!), I guess this might be worth the trip for some… I mean, not for the atmosphere, considering this one is inside a car dealership(very odd, in my opinion), but if you really like the food? idk I was coming from Citrus Heights at the time(gross), so that’s the only reason I was here. lolz

Awful. I’ve never been so disappointed in a restaurant’s service. After being seated by a clearly perturbed manager, our table was ignored and bypassed for guests that arrived 15 minutes after we did. I’ve been frequenting their restaurants for many years — however, I will no longer visit the Rocklin location after this experience.

I thought this place would be good. Ah Nope, The service is slow and when I ordered the 20 dollar steak meal and only finished half. I requested the waitress to box the rest of the meal and she threw it away. I am not impressed. We we went back a month later and still bad service. Never again.

I am glad this strange eatery is here in Rocklin. I have frequented at least four times for breakfast and lunch, and each time have enjoyed the meal. At times the service has been strange, but overall, nothing to prevent my return. Love the eggs benedict and also like the beef dip. Have not ventured into many other parts of the menu. Color scheme and décor is a bit 60s, but ok with me. It does have outdoor seating but it is definately wierd to eat in a car lot. So strange it is bizarrely and artfully suburban. Woody Allen should film a movie here.

A restaurant inside a Mercedes dealership? OK. A friend had told me that there was good people watching, especially at lunch, when the high maintenance Rocklin women having their cars serviced sip chardonnay and mingle. Anyway, I met some friends for dinner here tonight. The waitstaff was young and friendly. Our first pleasant surprise was the house Cabernet, which cost only 3.50 a glass. The waiter highly recommended the pancetta wrapped prawns for an appetizer, so we took him up on it. We weren’t blown away by them. The menu was pretty small, they had small plates, paninis, salads, and some pasta dishes. The pastas looked good, but we went low-budget and had paninis. They were all very yummy and came with a side salad. One of my friends asked if they could leave the mango salsa of of hers, but the waiter said they couldn’t do that, since the Paninis are pre-made. The service was attentive and the décor was nice. I would go again, just to check out the lunchtime crowd.

What a little gem. At first it was somewhat odd to hear there was a nice restaurant inside the Mercedes Benz dealership, but why not right? The dealership is located on the older part of Rocklin, closer to Sierra College. The exterior and interior décor of Bistro 33 is very posh and elegant, going hand in hand with the Mercedes atmosphere. The menu had a great selection of small plates, salads, paninis, pastas, and entrees. I ordered the Bistro meatloaf(mix of ground lamb and pork) with yukon butter mashed potatoes and broccoli. My boyfriend ordered the french dip sandwich with hand cut french fries. Both were amazingly good. The meatloaf already had a lot of flavor, but with the sauce and cayenne aioli, it brought out the flavors even more. I tried the french dip and we both agreed that this is definitely one of the best french dips we have ever had. The bread was soft but not too chewy, the roast beef was juicy, and the best part was when they poured the warm au jus from a kettle when it got to the table, very thoughtful. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back here for the food and of course ending the meal with a nice walk around the beautiful cars.

What a great idea. A restaurant @ the Mercedes dealership in beautiful downtown Rocklin. We started the meal out taking cell pics of ourselves in a100 thousand dollar Mercedes Benz., then we lowered ourselves to posing in one that was only 65 thou., We decided enough dreaming, Lets Eat! Imagine a very hip looking Bistro. Blue color scheme. nice bar, outside tables, great waitstaff(Shauna was ours) and she is wonderful. The food could not have been better! I read about this in Sactown Magazine, at least i think i did. It wasnt a dream. They are open for breakie, lunch and dins. It was so much fun! You can watch people buy cars as you munch down on your prawns, or crab cakes. or whatever. We actually saw one guy get all of his old stuff out of his Honda, and drive off in a new Benz Great entertainment value. Loved the dinner, loved the show. Too bad I could not have left with the Benz instead of a doggie bag.
