It sure took a lot for me to get over when my mom & I were insulted by the owner. It’s been years, but I decided to come back and give it a try with my daughter and her dad. We sat down and were immediately uncomfortable, because the same owner, who told my mom she was eating too fast, was walking around. It took such a long time just to order, I had to get up and ask someone to come take my order because we had been sitting almost 15 minutes. I was not rude about it, I politely informed them… even though it felt like it was purposely being done. We ordered our phở. Waited a very long time, again. We watched as other tables, with more people, were comeing in after us, order their food with ease. One of those tables received their food before us… so we started feeling singled out, we just sat and waited. The disappointment in this place just kept growing. When it finally came out, all we could do was stare at it because the server forgot the extra utinsils I asked for when I ordered(I was sharing with my daughter.) So I decided to take a picture while waiting for someone to come by so I could ask. It was pretty… but then the owner scolded me and said-«Eat your food, stop taking pictures!» While shaking his head.Rude. I shhhhh’d him and said, «Don’t worry about it.» Still the same ol attitude. Finally, the server happen to be walking by and I had to practically jump in front of him to get him to stop. Anyways, ate the food, did not post the pic because of the disappointing service. Will absolutely never be back.

We went to play laser tag and we got hungry so stopped at this place which was in the same shopping center. We ordered Chicken phở and Vietnamese crêpe and the soup noodle tasted ok, the color of the soup was dark like soy sauce color. The V. crêpe was so bad. It was not thin like crêpe but thick and waaaay too crunchy, it was very tough to eat. Over all, it is over priced for the quality of food you get.

The phở is very good, very close to my house. The only issue I have is cost, its a little on the pricey side. I usually like to go to South Sacramento get my tummy satisfied when I crave phở, but it is far from my house. The service is fast and love that they pack my bowl with lots of meat =)

I was pleasantly surprised when dining at this restaurant today. To be honest, I was quiet skeptical since it was located in a strip mall smack in the middle of Roseville. There aren’t many authentic Asian restaurants in the area so I didn’t really think this phở spot would be all that great. I was wrong. Their broth was delicious! You can taste the star anise and cinnamon in the broth which I loved! The service was very friendly as well. Portions are pretty big and their tendon was delicious!!! I’m a tendon lover so I know good tendon when I eat it :) it was clean, and cut into good sized pieces. The décor and layout of the store was pretty cute as well! Although I live 45 mins away, I would definitely come back if I’m ever in this area and craving phở! Thank you phở hot!

I would have given this place a five star, but the old, bald Asian guy/waiter/cashier was so RUDE. He took a long time serving me water. After he served my phở, he never bothered coming back to my take to ask how everything is. When I asked for the check, he yells at me telling me to go to the counter where he’s at. Never coming back!

We went there and had the phở soup and the egg rolls, some of the best soup I have ever had. It was my wife’s first time having it and she loved it also! The egg rolls were absolutely amazing!!! I would recommend this place to everyone! Nothing like great warm soup on a rainy day!!! I’ll be eating here again!

Get #51 if u want a big bowl of vermicelli with tender thin slips of steak, veggies & fish paste ball which hits every part of your palate. Smoothies are on the small side but refreshing. VERY loud, family friendly, reasonable prices overall.

Came here after Christmas shopping at the galleria. I have been to many phở places. Ordered Thai tea, which tasted different and honestly nasty. I ordered a small #26 which was brisket, sirloin, & flank. The portion was big and I usually eat a lot. There was a lot of meat and noodles which is good thing. But it wasn’t delicious at all. Will not go here again or recommend to anyone. But the waitress was nice.

Would come back if in the area. Especially on a cold day to catch a movie or so. Huge portions. I went with the large combination phở and it was too much for me. Going for the small next time. Nice man and friendly service. Always notice the good service provided by the one older gentleman. I can’t speak for the others.

Gross! I’ve had PHO plenty of times and this was gross! The meat tasted bad. Almost forgot to add! They gave me RAWMEAT. ITWASBLOODY. isn’t that against some health and Safety rule? The food tasted Spoiled! The broth was not full of flavor, tasted like dirty water. Threw the bowl away because it was so gross. The upside, veggies were fresh but delivered in my togo container with RAWMEAT. The restaurant smelled. I should have left when I initially smelled it but there were so many people eating I thought, can’t be bad.

After my work shift was completed on 11/17/2015, I decided to come this place for a dinner called, «Phở Hot.» Located at the city of Rocklin near Roseville, this Vietnamese restaurant delivers some authentic foods from phở, steamed vermicelli noodles, rice plates and more! As I came in, the atmosphere is very friendly, and warming. The concept is very natural filled with the lightest colored paint that surrounds the whole room. The employees are doing an alright job for making the customers very enjoyable and social active. No cons at all. For the food entrée, I ordered the signature Vietnamese dish, «Phở Ga» aka Phở Chicken Noodle soup. The ingredients seemed alrighty good, but I’m quite confused that the beef stock is there for my Phở Ga instead of chicken stock. I’m sure they need more chicken stock available to match the entrée correctly despite the customer’s popularity favorite of Phở Tai. Overall, it’s a good meal at all. There’s plenty of parking available, so you can park anywhere near or far. In the end, Phở Hot is a good, average Vietnamese restaurant right in the city of Rocklin. I’ll might be back in the future for my next visit, and I hope the service and the food need to be perfect this time if it improves. A worthy visit. My rating: 3 solid stars.

This used to be one of my favorite places for phở. I am giving only 3 stars due to the SMELL. What is up with the septic tank, porta potty stench??? It hits you when you walk in. Thankfully, I got take out. But, I was wondering how the customers eating inside could sit in their without vomiting? I would hope if they were having a problem with plumbing they would get it fixed? Don’t they rent that space? Geesh. Anyway, my food was fresh, hot, and great as usual. Not sure if I will be back until that smell is gone.

First time I tried phở, and it was pretty good. I had the shrimp one and even tho I got the small bowl when it came I could have shared it with my wife. Customer service was good and the server was always their to refill my drink. And for two bowls we paid only $ 19.

So, this was my first time at Phở Hot, and I definitely have mixed reviews! Food: The food was fantastic… For $ 17 I was able to get an order of their incredible egg rolls(5 count) and a large bowl of phở. When I say large, I MEANLARGE. The portion size was incredible. Enough for two meals. The broth had great flavor, and having a plethora of different sauces at our table made for even more flavor enhancing. As far as food and value go, 5 stars. Service and Ambiance: This where I had to take some stars away. We were greeted by an awful smell when we walked into the restaurant. It smelled like the inside of a porta-potty, and we were not the only ones who noticed. We heard a table next to us commenting on the smell, as well. The service wasn’t awful, but it was far from great. We had no issues getting our food in time, but after we received our food, the service disappeared completely. We were not told that we had to pay at the counter, so we sat around for a while waiting for some guidance. After realizing that no one was going to help us, we took it upon ourselves to go to the counter. All in all, not a bad experience. It’s a quick and easy place to snag some decent phở before a movie, but certainly not a place that I would go out of my way for.

I have been coming to Phở Hot off and on for years now. I still feel that they have the best phở and egg rolls in Roseville. The service is always friendly and I’ve seen some new faces recently. I usually order the large won ton phở and an order of egg rolls. Egg rolls come out piping hot and are amazing. The phở also comes out hot and full of noodles, won ton and veggies. I recently tried their thai tea milk tea with boba and that was just so-so. Maybe I’ll try a different drink next time. The texture of their boba was also a little off. Overall the food is good and Phở Hot is my go to Phở Spot in the Ville.

Decent phở place! I guess it’s as a good as it will get for phở in Roseville/Rocklin! It’s in a good shopping complex and the place itself is pretty clean and can sit roughly 25 – 30 people… Food was average, nothing too special… Phở is much better in south sac area in little Saigon! Also, the phở is more expensive here!!! I ordered a large phở with sirloin steak on the side and it cost $ 10.50 where normally it would cost $ 7 – 8 dollars! However, the portions are good… A large gives a good portion and so does the small! A small looked like a medium! We ordered the egg rolls as well and it was okay… Came out hot and crispy but we had better… I ordered an avocado boba and it wasn’t too good… Didn’t taste fresh because it wasn’t… Tasted artificial… Service was mediocre… Two male employees were working and they seemed okay… Not the friendliest but they were okay… Would we return… Maybe…

Finally, somewhere to have lunch in Roseville, CA. Have you been to Roseville before? If you answered yes then you know the culinary destitution the city suffers from. In the event you answered no, then just imagine a medium sized suburb that looks like big box chain restaurant hell and everyone in town thinks that is just wonderful. I had to really drill down in the Unilocal app to find this restaurant for a decent lunch but it was worth the trouble and drive. The interior is perfectly clean and Phở Hot offers a large menu consisting of all the Viet favorites that we in OC seriously take for granted. Thanks to the rainy weather my choice was made for me; Phở. With sliced Sirloin on the side. $ 11.00 for the large. Let’s do this. The bowl of poodles and noodles was a no frills affair of an extremely fragrant and aromatic broth containing perfectly cooked vermicelli noodles along with the prerequisite Thai Basil and Bean Sprouts acting as a supporting cast. A mandatory splash of Hoisin and squeeze of Sriracha took the Phở to status level: SAVAGE. Immerse the supplied Sirloin cuts for 30 seconds to obtain a perfect medium rare and you are left leaving full, content and with a light sweat on a cold weather day. Was this the best bowl of Phở in this Unilocalers eyes? Hell no. Not by a long shot. I am from OC; recognize. That being said, if you consider the locale and options in the area there is simply no reason to give Phở Hot 4 stars worth of acknowledgement. Thank you Phở Hot for being the fist in the air in the sea of corporate fooding that is Roseville.

Located next door to the Blue Oaks Movie Theater this little shop has a prime location and prices are a few dollars higher than most places to reflect this. Bare bones décor and seating for about 25 – 35 people is a pretty fair description of the joint. Looking at the other tables it was easy to see the large order of Phở comes in a bowl the size of a kettle LOL. We tried the small beef Phở, pork chop/egg plate, spring rolls and Vietnamese ice coffee. My wife complained that there wasn’t much beef in her soup bowl, but other than that it was fine. My pork chop plate was very tasty but at $ 11.50 it was probably overpriced at least one to two dollars. The spring rolls were five for $ 5.25 super crunchy and tasty. The ice coffee was very weak compared to most other Vietnamese ice coffees so don’t order this if you want a strong brew. Overall the service and food were fine, nothing special, nothing bad. Phở Hot will do in a pinch, but there are better, cheaper options available.
