We’re so extremely happy we chose S&G over any other company to do our laminate flooring & carpeted stairs installation. The project transaction, from start to finish, went smoothly, from estimator Erik, to salesman Scott, to the hardest-​working floor installers Victor and Ervin. Victor and Ervin worked from sunup to way past sundown during Thanksgiving week. They were very meticulous, precise, professional, respectful, and they definitely know their trade. They were perfectionists, and did not leave the house with any flaws. To keep the costs down, we demo’d the existing flooring ourselves and purchased a remnant piece of carpet for 50% off from the store. We were also fortunate enough to catch the «November no sales tax» event. Definitely would recommend. S&G. Go get it!

We had someone come out to the house to show us some carpet samples for our stairs and hall. The representative was knowledgeable and pleasant. We got a call about installation soon after purchase. The installers showed up 10 minutes before the time window and they did the work much faster than I thought was possible. The carpet quality is great and I love it so much I want to replace the rest of the carpet in the house now.

This company is horrible, horrible, horrible with customer service. You have been warned. They will promise you things that they know they cannot do. I did not just purchase an area rug, I purchased wood flooring for my entire house! Yes, thousands of dollar worth of product and the installation was a DISASTER! Avoid at all cost!

Sales staff in the store were helpful but the contracted installers were just awful. Visible seams in the carpet and uneven spaces. And they stole jewelry. Can’t recommend using this company.

S and G installed new flooring over my ceramic tile a few years ago. I was having some issues with cracking and when a rep came out to look, I was expecting that the cracked pieces would be replaced. Instead, Will said that the original install was what was causing the problem and that S and G would replace all the flooring at their cost or if I wanted something else, my total purchase price would be a credit. I did in fact pick another type of flooring and the customer service and installation were excellent. I am thrilled with my new flooring and the fact that S and G went above and beyond my expectations. I’d recommend S and G for all your flooring needs.

Bought a new carpet for my parents family room. Shannon helped my parents pick out the perfect carpet and padding for them and their German Shepherd. Dog friendly! Shannon was extremely patient with them and her professionalism gives them a 5 star rating from me. The install team was awesome! 3 guys took about 2 hours to install. They hauled everything away, vacuumed and were great.

I had an excellent experience buying flooring from Will at S&G. His knowledge of hardwood floors was impressive, his level of professionalism exceptional. It’s rare to go in to a store these days and meet someone in sales who seems to really care, but Will made me feel that he did, and I will definitely return to him with my future flooring needs.

Tom and I have been customers of S&G Carpet & More for nearly 40 years beginning in San Jose. Since our move to the foothills we have purchased carpet and hardwood flooring at the store in Rocklin for our homes as well as a rental in the Bay Area. We have always been impressed with the personalized customer service, quality products, and great installation service this company has consistently offered throughout the years and at various locations!
Our hats are off to Lisa, and her staff in Rocklin — when asked for a recommendation for great flooring we always recommend S&G Carpet & More. Keep up the good work!

My first experience was pretty good except that I was surprised there was no followup to see how the carpet was working out for us. Maybe that’s not a standard thing, but for me, it was a big purchase and I just expected a little more attention, I guess. But when I had a problem, they were right there and Wayne provided excellent customer service and follow through. It’s time to finish off the house and they are coming out to measure in a couple of days… I look forward to doing business with them again.

My dad and I stopped in the Stanford Ranch location to check out flooring for my house. My dad had recently purchased flooring from the Elk Grove location. They were having a huge sale and people were swarming everywhere. We weren’t in a hurry so we just waited for our turn. The man who came to help us actually came from the store my dad had purchased his flooring from and remembered him. Mike (I believe) was who helped us. We told him what we were looking for, he showed us the laminate that met our criteria, we picked one, he gave us a deal, they loaded it and we were out of there. No pressure, just awesome service! Cant speak of their installation as we did it ourselves. I would not hesitate to go to this location again

Nels Peterson at the S & G Carpet store in Rocklin gave us excellent service this month. We could not be happier with the effort he took to find our discontinued carpet and then get it to us, all the way from Georgia! Whatever came up, Nels was there to see that everything went smoothly, and we greatly appreciate his service. This was a small order, but somewhat complicated, and he made sure that we had the right dye-​lot, and the best day for thie installation and binding pick-​up for the area rugs we were creating. Thank you Nels and S & G Carpet Rocklin!

I pulled into the driveway and noticed that my neighbor was having a guy from S&G give her a quote for carpet. I walked over and asked if he could take a look at my carpet that my new puppy had ripped up, he agreed and came over. He advised me on what I should do to take care of the rip and gave me names to some subcontractors that could fix my problem. nothing in it for him but he was extremely helpful. So thank you Erik Peterson you have my business for life

This review is for their customer service. I was happy with their salesman Patrick their selection and price. They had done my other house and I thought being a return customer would get me better treatment. We schedule an install date the first time and it gets cancelled by them. We schedule a second install date I call the day before to confirm and am told their installer can’t make the appointment. Third date and my carpet finally gets installed. I had to reschedule furniture delivery 2 different times and all their manager Damon says is we schedule appointments as a convenience to me. Absolutely terrible customer service answer. I have another flooring project in this same house and I will not be returning to S&G for this project.

Not the best price or service. Recent promotion was all hype and they didn’t come close to doing what they advertised. Virtually no follow through. Shopped the exact same carpet at 2 other location and had a better price for both carpet and installation at other locations. Shop around before buying here, you can do better.
