Really nice place, staff is friendly, and they had a good selection of beer and wine. The night we went there was a one man show playing guitar and singing. Very relaxed atmosphere, it had a feeling of being in your own home. They even have an outdoor Seating area. I will definitely be going back.

First thing wine to expensive, then one of the food specials on my menu was priced wrong, it said 0.99 and they charged me 9.99 for a little peace of meat in a martini glass, and they would not accommodate me for the wrong price on the menu. Well they got my $ 10.00 but my family, friends and I will not be returning, its to bad because we love to go out and spend $ on wine.

A wine bar in Rocklin… it’s about time! My first impression was that it felt more like a coffee shop inside than a wine bar — casual, brightly lit and there was even a couple sitting with their laptops in the corner. It could definitely use a little more warmth and maybe some window coverings to block the view of the parking lot. However, I liked that it felt comfortable and that my friend and I could chat without tons of noise. Also, the owner was very friendly, knowledgeable and told us that if we would like to see a wine added to the menu to let her know. Now on to the food and more importantly drink. Although the wine menu is small it is comprised of local wines and there is a great variety. I tried the Bray Barbera and a Syrah(both were fantastic but I was more fond of the Barbera) while my friend, Kim G., went with for the whites. Although I was there for the wine, I noticed a great selection of beer behind the bar that included local beers from Roseville Brewing Co and Loomis Basin Brewery(my fave). There is also a small but yummy selection of snacks to choose from. We started with the antipasti platter which had a mix of salami, various cheeses, veggies, crackers and dip. After a couple glasses of wine, we were feeling a bit snacky again so we ordered the guac — yummy and spicy but a little overpriced for the size. Definitely excited to have a new spot close to home to grab a glass(or 3) on girls night ;)

Comfortable and friendly. Love the fact that I can try different regional wines in one place. Great place to bring a client or a date. It’s a comfortable place to go solo too. I’ve learned a lot about the local wines just talking with the staff! The crowd is fun and friendly, a wide variety of ages, which is to me what makes a fun bar. I also like that this is a local business, and my money is going to support a local owner, and not a corporation. This is not a trendy Yard House type bar. You’ll find a seat at this bar(most the time at least!) and it’s a place you can actually carry on a conversation with your friends without having to shout over the noise of a too-crowded bar. There’s seating outside as well, which is great when the weather is good. I really like how the place is decorated, and I like that there are plenty of couches to sit on, and not just tables. Definitely worth checking out if you’re anywhere near the area!

What a cool place. The owner is really involved and has created an atmosphere that is a great mix of upscale, down to earth, refined, and welcoming. It’s a perfect place to bring a client, bring a date, or go solo and strike up a conversation with someone new. Unlike a previous reviewer’s experience, there were plenty of 20⁄30 somethings there when I went… and the vibe was one of inclusive connection among everyone. Perhaps if you’re looking for a super trendy bar with only pretty people under 35, this is not your ideal place. If you’re looking for some variety in the demographic(something I look for and appreciate) this place rocks! Oh, I almost forgot, the food and drink are excellent too.

One of the folks I work with told me about Wild Vines & Brew. My wife and I visited the second or third day they were open. Enjoyed the ambiance and chatting with the owner. Have had a great time each visit. The food is ecxcellent and the wine recommendations have been right on, helping us discover some new local wineries. Yes we are in our early 50s however my colleague, who recommended WV&B is in her late 20s and told me wat a great time her and her family had. We have been back a half dozen times and enjoyed every visit. Looking for to the expanded menue planned for the future and learning about more local wineries. The owner has taken the time to chat with us every time we have come in and shared her plans for the future. Roseville/Rocklin needs more small businesses like this that make you feel like part of an extended family. We will defintly be back and bringing friends.

We just went to their grand opening, which was expectantly packed. Had a hard time getting the attention of the bartender who was more interested in drinking her own glass of wine than serving others. They were out of the first wine on their menu, so she served me a 75% pour what was left of the next selection, but apologized again and then only charged me 90% of the price … not sure how she figures that math out? I’m 6′ 1″ and the bar stools seem too short for even me. My 5′ date had the bar at shoulder height. Hmm … Grand closing soon? The crowd was over 55 and we’re not sure where they are going with this business model in a strip mall? Would prefer a trendier vibe with tapas pairings and accurate pricing. Doubt we’ll be back.

Not for the 30 – 45 crowd; more 46 – 70, not sure which generation this is geared toward. decorated nicely for a wine bar, not the best location in the corner of a strip mall between a Chinese nail salon and take out joint. Per glass prices a little steep. Bottle prices better deal than by glass.
