Coffee was good. Quiche was tasty. Good atmosphere. Clean and quick. I recommend.

All things are relative. I’ve noticed a couple reviews saying they have had better coffee in other cities. Well when you need to go to another city to find better coffee, that would still make Daily Grind the best coffee in Rockport. Personally I am unable to function without coffee and must rely on the kindness of coffee purveyors to make sure I am able to join society on a daily basis. For that I thank you Daily Grind. And to all coffee shop owners, you complete me. Side note, I ordered from out side, it looks nice in there and next time I plan on venturing in.

How nice to discover this coffee shop — I love to support the independents! Based upon the suggestion of the barista, I ordered the«Yummy Mitchell,» iced pecan coffee with cream and caramel, and it was indeed yummy! I will definitely be stopping by again next time I visit Rockport.

Patio and interior is too cute for words. Prices are about half of Starbucks back in Austin. Owner reached out to make me feel really welcome and then personally wanted to make my custom drink to ensure it was made right. It was! And surprisingly fast too.

Came for a brunch meeting with my pharmacy fraternity from Kingsville. Very cute little coffee shop with a neat art gallery attached to it. Ordered the crab and garlic quiche, a white chocolate and raspberry scone, and a white peach smoothie. Soothe was okay, but the quiche however was DELICIOUS. Fluffy and tasty, I would highly recommend it! And the scone was AMAZING! Melts in your mouth, soft, and had an amazing aroma. Definitely try it if you decide to stop in. We tried to go back the next morning to buy out the rest of their scone supply but they’re closed on Sundays :(and their service is awesome! Very polite and friendly workers!

This place was okay but the hours are horrendous. I’ve only been able to go once because every other time it is closed. People like coffee past the early afternoon and don’t want to drive outside of Rockport for a decent cup!

My wife and stopped in at this cool place. It is very spacious and has nice seating arrangements in different settings. Another beat thing is that the photographer, John Martell, had his art gallery adjoining the coffee shop — so you are able to grab a coffee and browse the amazing photography at the same time. I had the white chocolate mocha frappè and my wife had the white chocolate latte. Both were good, but we both agreed that the latte was superior. I would recommend this coffee shop.

Man this is going to sound bad. I don’t want to be a hater, but if reviews on this site are so inaccurate as to give this place 4/5, I gotta speak up. This place sucks. It is a RUNNINGJOKE that it is never open. They are open 40 hours out of an entire week – at my last job they opened 2 hours after I went to work and closed 2 hours before I got off work. The food, the one time I had it, really jacked my stomach up(does NOT happen easily). The coffee. is so. incredibly. bad. Go watch the shot being pulled, and if you’ve never seen an espresso shot pulled, youtube it first. A cascade of brownish water careening through bad coffee to begin with, ending up as basically a really bitter pour-over. I love coffee. I love coffee shops. I grew up drinking coffee daily, and still do. The people who love this place have probably not had good coffee, and/or they are drinking mostly milk/ice/sugar/etc. I grew up here in Rockport, and I never had good coffee until I moved to Austin, then DFW… all have a variety of passable to exceptional coffee shops. It seems like Rockport is some kind of coffee black hole. If you think Starbucks is GREAT(which it is definitely not), you will find this place to be just a little below that. Do you love crema? Do you look at latte art on Instagram? Do you want espresso made from beans that doesn’t have the oil burned out of it? Do you know what qualities you like in a variety of coffee? Do you care if your coffee is fair trade? Are you expecting a SINGLEPERSON at the shop to be, I dunno, A BARISTA? Do you have a private plane? Because I know a few places. The service is horrible. You place your order, then they make it, then you pay, then they take the next order. Slowly. Or maybe they take all the orders. Or maybe they take the order, make it, take the next one, make it, then you both pay at the same time. Or maybe they take your order, make it, ask if you want anything else, then get you that, then you pay. It is a truly horrendous coffee shop and makes me sad to even think about. I bought an espresso machine and am putting the work into learning to use it because this place is so useless. I’ve had 3 months of experience serving one customer 1 – 2 times a day and I’m already light years beyond what I can pay for at this place. You know, if they are open.

The staff are as friendly as it gets. After a couple visits they just confirm my usual order and I’m good to go. I haven’t tried the food yet but the scones look good everytime I’m in there. I’ve heard they have good sandwiches so I’ll save that for another day. I agree the coffee isn’t as strong as Starbucks but thats not a big issue for me. Sometimes I just ask for an extra shot in my cup if I’m in the mood. Give them a try.

Not only are they locally owned and the beans locally roasted. They serve up the best scones on the coast. I fell head over heels in love with the cranberry one it was so moist and full of flavor I could eat one everyday for the rest of my life. No Joke. Their space is very clean and pleasantly filled with art, friendly locals and the chattersome seasonal snowbirds. I’ve also heard the jalapeño quiche is superb so it’s been added to my checklist. Thanks for being good to your locals and I wish you folks the best Daily Grind.
